THE LinusTechTips Deskpad has Landed!
I already have a few Patreons and Subscriptions running so I figured I'd be best off sponsoring these guys (and the literally hundreds of hours of entertainment and information they provided me with) through LTTStore.com (visit www.lttstore.com). And it has to be said, even though people commented that there's probably better deskpads for the money, this is by far the best one I had. It's squishy but not to such an extent that it slows my typing (750 ks/min) down and the MX Master tracks beautifully on it. I went for a wide and undeep one as I need space for mouse, trackpad and a full size keyboard, but also regularly move the whole thing out of the way to make space for other keyboards, food or a laptop. Fun bonus; The material dampens the sound of my mechanical keyboard (gateron brown).
Also for some reason I also received a pile of Daniel Romano records today, apparently everything Canadian landed in the Netherlands today.

Would you believe I almost threw out the LTTstore sticker pack? It was hiding at the bottom of the box of my deskpad.
I'm sorry Apple, but whoever designed this sticker is just a better designer than whoever designed your logo.
It's amazeballs! My house has been sticker bombed. "Should be fine..." is on my screen, instead of samsung. My iPad has 'warning, do not drop' sticker and there's a NICE sticker with little 69's in the background going to the girlfriend as she's been 69 spotting with me ever since that's become a thing.
Also, there will be an LTT sticker on my old Volvo. Suits it.

Also, i got in 2x4gb of ddr3 12800 for my two "secondary" (and tertiary, i guess) PC's.
They are older little things but they serve a purpose. The Windows 10 HP 8300 Elite USDT is my desk pc for non-gaming things.
It's right underneath my Mac mini. The mac minis is for audio/video/photo stuff, the 8300 is for WIndows stuff, like burning CD's. Because yes, I actually do. Never for myself, usually digitized old tapes and records for ooooold people. And an i5 3550 with 8gb of memory is just fine for that. 4gb in single channel, meh. So yeah, upgraded that.

telegram-cloud-photo-size-4-5892993115399239553-y.jpg.60c9bfd94733cfe31d4852df84bb166f.jpg

And then there's the i5 5200t, which is a Gigabyte BRX PC. Lovely little thing that I just bought because it was way too cheap. Runs like a champ, now also with 8gb memory in dual channel, running Manjaro Linux. It's my test pc for various OS'es and software.

telegram-cloud-photo-size-4-5892993115399239551-x.jpg.5cafeb9a4efc305fb534d1956eaa90c8.jpg

They are all in one neat little stack taking up way less space than my 2700x gaming rig that's on my workbench, which is also my gaming desk.

Secret pocket identified 👀

Of course they released the Dad hat right after I made this purchase but the just Black logo hat is great too:

The Mistery T-Shirt:

I have bought this USB C T-Shirt as part of my first purchase at LTTStore.com over 1.5 years ago and had worn it as much as I could for about a year until it started to stink. I still have it and the Grey short sleeve Techlinked T-Shirt (to which has happened the same) in storage. So it's an extreme coincidence that I get that T-Shirt again which I loved wearing for almost every day since at the time I only had those two T-Shirts which were from a brand like LTT. Also have I ever mentioned that the USB-C T-Shirt kinda looks like the Mask from Kylo Ren from Star Wars ?

Don't like the new Underwear design so I'm happy they brought back the OG one:

Of course since I already have the OG 27oz Golden and the new green 40oz Water Bottles the spout lid was just 5 bucks and a no brainier since I of course have spilled my drink multiple times.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

I wanted to have a better audio solution for some meetings and also have an option for future pod-casting plans with my girlfriend, so I basically did a very impulsive purchase of this boy right here.

A bit of too much ambient noise for my personal taste, but also overall liking it.

Went to a car boot sale and I picked up 10 games, spent around 5-6£ on them, the GTA 5 copies I got separately. 1st copy I got of ebay and only had the install disc but the listing didn't mention it in any form so I got a refund and they never asked for it back. 2nd one I got locally.

genuinely hope you have more luck with the Focusrite Scarlett. It doesn't sound half bad I found it to be an absolute driver nightmare on Windows. Very unstable.
Should it be a mess for you too, look at Native Instruments. I never found a sound interface that's SO solid with both Windows and MacOS.

But I will say my digi design mbox 2 is a absolute nightmare on windows with drivers.

That's a bit up in the air. We've been dating and "engaged" for a while now. 3 years almost. That being said, she's not a US citizen. Had to go back to Norway to reup her Visa and COVID hit while she was there. On the 12th I'm supposed to be able to apply for permission to go there. Once I get that, I'm going over next month for 6 weeks. We aren't 100% set on getting married while I'm there. We'd like to, but we also want to make sure where I live and my work schedule will work for her too. We're looking at officially getting engaged there, she comes here for a while and I do work like normal. I live pretty remotely right now, and  work even more remote.

Kinera Freyas in pink

my QDC dmagics got cancelled because they’re unable to ship them out of China, and i didn’t want to have 1600$ iems sitting in shipping purgatory forever

so I’m gonna try these out for the time being and when it’s easier to get expensive products out of China I’ll try again with the dmagics

These were only like 260$ though so they’ll be fun to play around with until I can get something high end

I’ll post a proper review on the audio sub forum when they show up

Just bought a media control thing from Amazon. It gives me a little knob to adjust my volume, play and pause music, and is overall pretty handy. I mounted it on the wall next to me!
