What did you buy today?

For me, i just had a McDonald's Big mac chicken and some fries.

I bought the Logitech Logi Blok IPad Air 2 keyboard case and it's the best £15 I've ever spent, i was thinking of getting a Surface and now I'm sure a 2 in 1 is fantastic.

This is the single most expensive part i bought for my truck so far, it was a crucial component that it never had.

I dare you to take a guess on what it is.

It's a steering gear box. I have rebuilt them before. I rebuilt the one in my F250 about a year ago.

Precisely!

The steering box itself is, it came from a D10 (Diesel version of the C10).

The parts that need to be converted are the fluid reservoir and pump, which need to be taken from a Opala, since the D10 had a very different pump and reservoir that doesn't fit the C10.

But since my truck has the same engine as a Opala (4.1 Stovebolt Six instead of the 4.3 Job Master Brasil), the other components fit without adaptations.

Before that, the truck only had manual steering.

Well, looks like a steering gear, possibly for a Chevy/GMC truck.

In the last week, I've picked up a Phanteks PH-TC14S cpu cooler to finally upgrade from my faithful Corsair A50, and a used 1TB WD Black HDD...I think I'm finally done with my build.  Now to start hunting down deals to build the wife an upgrade from her Phenom II x4 925 build...

I recently bought a 2010 MacBook Pro with an interesting fault (Well faults).

Apparently the trackpad was cracked because. . . the battery had swelled to hell and back. So I didn't think it was much of a big issue, couldn't have swelled that much right??

Well the bottom cover almost flew off when I took it off with how badly swelled it was, got to be twice as thick as a normal battery!

Here's what the machine cost me to get back up to full working order:

MPB 13inch 2010 = £142

Genuine Trackpad = £30.99

Genuine Battery = £34.99

Genuine Charger = £29.99

Total = £237.97 (They Sell Refurbished for £360+ on eBay)

Anyway here's the photos:

Machine itself now all repaired:

Cracked trackpad:

The WTF Battery!:

A warning I totally ignored because who'd keep this battery in there!!!:

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM

What? CAM isn't a bad program by any means, and the in-game interface is more readable than Afterburner's.

idk

Dell AT102W, equipped with ALPS black switches. I'm not used to it yet, feels very responsive but bottoming down every keystroke...

I started on MX Blacks.

I fucking slam my keys on every board to the point where I've broken my Surface Pro 4 keyboard once because of it

Have fun learning on a board that's worse than that when it comes to force lmfao

idk
