Motion activated cat scarer. Keep those silly rascals off of the kitchen counter!

You could just use a cucumber.  Or a banana if i remember correctly.  Seems pretty much anything of that general description will scare them off on sight :P

It's just that I don't usually see such numbers on a pair of cans before and it's really just mindblowing.

True, 5 - 30k is pretty unheard of honestly.  Usually the top is 20k and the bottom is at best 20, if not more like 50, but my point is just that without specifying a max/min exaggeration/attenuation, that could be -120 dB at 30k, so it might be a pointless number.  You'll have to let us know how they sound once you've had a good listen :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Keep them off of things they shouldnt be, like the counter top with dangerous chocolate cookies

Ah chocolate. That explains it. xD

Will do. I plan on mixing soon so I'll see how it goes and report back.

Which reminds me, I need to order that 20g tube of MX-4 from AC's website. I finish my 4g tubes wayy too fast. And my tubes of Thermal Grizzly stuff is still stuck in the mail system. >.>

Did they have the 20g one when you bought your tube of MX-4?

No, at my local store the 4g is all they have, and it's actually the biggest tube they have of any thermal paste. I don't go through mine a lot though so it shouldn't be an issue personally.

I've wanted one of these for some time now but it's one 1on1 with the wall and I'll have to walk back to the store. :S

Wish my local store actually sold MX-4. They just sell the usual generic goop.

On topic, I ordered 3 tshirts and a sticker from Jinx since they're having a 25% sale.

Ordered a few audio devices just before Christmas.  A pair of RODE NTR Ribbon Mics are the first to arrive.

post-243744-0-16897700-1451313450_thumb.

Remaining items include:

Zoom F8 field recorder

zoom_zf8_f8_field_recorder_1437078972000

A Sennheiser MK8

sennheiser_506195_mk8_large_diaphragm_co

AKG D112

akg_2220x00040_d112_mkii_pro_dynamic_142

Might do an audio comparison test and post a brief "What I think about them" once the rest of the mics and the recorder arrives.  I won't write a review because to do a review I need to compare, for example, the RODE NTR Ribbon mics with other ribbon mics (which I do not have).
