Bought a "set of iPod original packaging and accessories, with defective iPod" for $30 (4th gen, 20GB).

Just has a bulged battery that pushed onto the controls and made the center key basically inert causing the described "weird behavior", but that's a $6 fix for a replacement battery, works 100% otherwise.

Also I wanted a FireWire iPod to use with my iMac G3 and seeing the 30pin connector I went, "oh well", but... I obviously don't know my iPod history and 3-4th gen actually support both FW and USB, and given the "for accessories" listing this came with the FW-30pin cable I didn't even know existed and the FW charger, so that was all a nice surprise coming back after a 2 week project delivery rush...

Ordered a battery and in the meantime did what it tells you not to do and punctured the cell to relieve the pressure - no more button pinching and should hold until the replacement comes, with bonus lithium battery electrolyte smell 😛

Bought this chair a couple weeks ago after my old chair used to sink all the time. Super comfy and I have been really enjoying it especially fo long gaming sessions unlike my old chair.

Glad I only got it for $150 cad. Had some minor issues with it when I first got it, but the company who make it was super quick to send out a replacement part and help.

I need a chair, where/who from? Mine is nearly 20 years old and literally falling apart. I have a pillow for bottom cushion.

Try Griot’s Garage products next time around. I used a lot of different car care stuff until I came across them and they’re amazing.

I've been using Meguiars ultimate wash and wax and I've been happy with their products as well as their paste wax from them. Before that, I used turtle wax and their super hard shell wax and their pretty good too, but so far I've been liking meguiars. Before purchasing this mitt, I thought about one of meguiars but I preferred the "noodle" mitts over what meguiars had and my sister had some stuff from Chemical Guys and she was happy with their stuff.

Since this is such a big mitt, it retains a lot of water so using it one-handed can be pretty heavy to use.

Ah the one time Canada wins out over USA.

Got a brand or part number on it? I can probably find the same one down here. Somewhere. Hopefully. It looks decent for $150.

Picked up a Sapphire RX Vega 64 nitro+ for $50, and a MSI X58 Pro-E motherboard with a included i7-980X for $60.

Needed an old school IDE/SATA motherboard setup for doing some hard drive conversations...

Love X58, it's really the "do everything" platform, can pretty much use anything released in a 25+ year span with it, great to have one around... still got mine from back then for that reason.

I ordered this a few days ago after having a non stop fight with batteries and them always being dead whilst in the middle of a game, or when I want to play a game. I'm so excited for this. Now nothing will get in the way of my gaming sessions anymore.

Besides my cat and her never ending quest of getting lovings at the most incontinent times (like in the middle of a Dark Souls boss fight).

Very nice I have been fighting the urge to get a MT3, however I like my 9~yrs old Filco MT2 TKL (mx-reds  and Vortex PBT doubleshot keycaps) very much.   I have  basically used this keyboard 98% of the time since I got it nearly 9yrs ago...  It is so good and it still works perfectly.. I hope you enjoy yours.  (I have modded mine with a pig tail removable cable and filled the case with PE foam, I have also Holee modded the stabilizer (on the space bar) ... the Costar Stabs ... are fine.. but I kinda wish they had cherry style ones.. but meh?

If mt fairly well used Filco is anything to go by that could be the last keyboard you ever need to buy.... Good stuff.

It was working 🙂 I've already put a little 120GB SSD in it.  Just making a windows 7 ISO to install on it.  It'll never go on the internet so Windows 7 will be enough for running MUNT and BASSMIDI

Installing Windows 11 instead

8GB of DDR3 Laptop RAM, i5-2400 and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio lead.  All for less than a tenner from CEX.  Might not use the 2400 (the Lenovo mini has a 2120T) but I might get fruity and plop it in
