Right now I have 3Mbps down (until 2 months ago I had 5-6Mbps, now for some unknown reason is 3Mbps), I'm going to change ISP hopefully I can reach 7Mbps (a friend who live right next to me has 7Mbps, so I hope I can get it too )

And trust me you don't want to know the upload speed

Of course there are a few places with 100Mbps, but not where I live <_<

9 The immigrants: this country is over run with them taking all the jobs some areas in my city feel like another country because of the amount of immigrants

and before you say  leave the country i am only 13 and i can't wait till i get my degrees and get enough money to go and live in Canada

Solid logic there chief "Fuck them immigrants! I'm just gonna leave and become an immigrant to another country!"

1 They have history, and meaning and are more beautiful than you may think.  When you look at the castles in the UK, they are old and have tons of history.  That is absolutely priceless!  Do you know how much I would like to live somewhere like that?!?

the older cities have not been modernized that much much like bath look good but when it comes to bigger cities there full of concrete messes

Have some Poles (now i question is that the right name for you?)  Living across the street best people we have along with the Iranians next door to them sooner have more of you than the chavvy bastards out back and recently a house a few doors down went up for sale and we dread who is going to buy it.

also did i mention the only real thing i hate about the UK is the loli ban?

Yeah Poles is alright. As for the Loli ban it is sort of understandable since to a person that isn't into the Anime/Manga culture it may seem like child porn since they will follow the daft stereotype that all Anime/Manga is porn related and sadly the people that are in the government are those kind of people so they ban things just in case so that they don't have to deal with it later if bad things happen.

On the side note; I usually don't care when people point out that I'm foreign and I can understand why people may like or dislike us to be in their country. One thing that I don't get is why people get so up-roared with the fact that there are so many foreigners in their country and then follow stereotypical opinion about them to automatically dislike them. As long as foreigners don't affect you personally then there seriously shouldn't be a problem with them living in the country. Most foreigners I see and know work their asses off doing crappy jobs with low pay just to live here, that in this case Brits won't even think of taking on and then they are shocked that there are no jobs left. Just my point of view on the matter :P

There is no particular order there is no worse to least worse or other way round

1 the cities: they are ugly there's no sense of architecture all they build is ugly concrete buildings

2  the roads: they so small that they cause loads of traffic and you can't drive muscle cars here or you would be hogging the roads and parking spaces

3  tea drinking obsession: i hate the obsession here it i get offended when other countries talk about this stereotype which is true

4 The EU: i hate having another country make laws for this country

5 the government: something that all UK resident would agree with me with this the all the government not one of them do something goof for the country but instead make the country worse

6  English football obsession: here everyone that plays football here just sweats it and takes it too seriously

7 lack of variety in the countryside: i don't hate the country side its self here but i hate the lack of variety of country side here in the UK all it is just fields and no rocky mountains and just lake's surrounded by fields

8 the girls: most of them are ugly you would rarely see decent looking ones and very rarely see good looking ones (i don't really care about girls it just something i see all the time)

9 The immigrants: this country is over run with them taking all the jobs some areas in my city feel like another country because of the amount of immigrants

10 boring food: most of foods here are just boring cakes, biscuits and scones well anything that's made from wheat are the boring foods but i do like a Sunday roast and fish and chips

That's it if i think of more i will add it

and before you say  leave the country i am only 13 and i can't wait till i get my degrees and get enough money to go and live in Canada

I think the reason some UK employers prefer Polish employees is the work ethic as most Polish people I know don't have wages any different to our own, turning up on time, working long hours and staying in a job are very attractive traits to an employer.

The minimum wage is probably around 3 times higher in the UK which is a great reason to get out of bed lol, but the cost of living kind of balances things out. I see the same thing when British people emigrate to places like Australia, suddenly their whole work ethic changes.

I think part of the reason there are a lot of complaints is also to do with younger immigrants choosing to flat share to balance out the cost of living and often because of lack of knowledge of the area they will move into working class 'family' areas where the housing is usually cheaper, of course young people like to party so they get seen as being rowdy, but again I think this works vice versa when UK citizens emigrate to higher paying countries. Student areas would be a lot more suitable for the younger immigrants, but it's hard to tell when you first move into a new country.

There are also a huge amount of Polish people, foriegn and national involved in higher education and academic careers, but it doesn't really seem to be of much interest to the media. I think a lot of people forget the scale of the Polish diaspora and people are unaware that Polish people have been emigrating to the UK since the start of the penultimate millennium and the contributions they have made. But of course the media portrays this as some sort of new phenomenon.

-snip-

I do agree with what you said completely. As for the media portraying I could relate this to The Verge's recent video that they did about Poland's gaming industry although it was pretty accurate it seemed to slightly over-exaggerate things. As for the higher education and academic careers I can relate this to myself since I'm currently in college and I have just finished my first year for my IT course and nailed it with to scores and I really do want to go on to Uni and carry on with my carrier so that I can do what I want in life. I just think most people have to just learn to completely ignore nationality and other aspects which people seem to judge others by so that they treat everyone equally. I know that this is impossible to ask from everyone but even in my college they are VERY serious about equality otherwise you will be punished.

1) i agree. all cities are just as crap, dont worry about it.

2) the roads in cities are too small, they are great everywhere else

3) everyone i know does drink tea, so its not a stereotype, its a fact

4) if your 13 you shouldn't care as 99% of them wont effect you

5) no matter who is in power in a country, they are always doing it wrong

6) everyone likes football, just like most people like consoles, its a cheap sport to get into, so lots of people like it. personally i'm in the motorsport master race. (cos poor people can't do motorsport)

7) this is not good when you are the one in the passigner seat, but once you start driving/biking you only concentrate on the nice twisting roads ahead

8) every man  has his own taste, i think most birds dont look nice, but just remember the ones that do, they aren't any better anywhere else anyway

9) do you live in bradford :. jokes, its just depends where you live, immigrants tend to live near each other where they can get their imported food and have shops, so if you see some, you will see many.

10) wtf how can you not like cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sunday  roast and fish and chips are amazing. food in any other country is just weird. merica put sugar and fat in everything annd most other countries eat rice, pasta, or weird things like chicken feet and ostrich balls

i think you have a case of grass is much greener on the other side syndrome, people up north here get it all the time and go to live in london and such, just to discover its the same crap thats up here but more expensive. same with people who move countries.

I fully agree with no. 4,

the EU sucks and a lot of tax money is going to waste paying people to dictate laws for countries they don't even live in. Bullshit like the light bulb thing is probably the worst but in my opinion they have no right at all to change any country's laws.

The rest of what you said I can't really say much about it since I've never been to the UK. I had to laugh about the tea obsession thing bc i tought it was really just a stereotype.

Anyways cheer up man, you're only 13 yrs old. You'll be able to move wherever you want if you have enough money. Just focus on school and try and get a good job.

I live in a 3rd world country and trust me when I say, your reasons for hating the UK are childish. I don't know anyone who lives in the UK but I'm sure it's pretty different from how we live here. I'm not saying that living here is hell or living there is heaven, I'm just saying that every place has it's ups and downs but your personal list of reasons is just childish in my opinion.

1. Be grateful about where and how you live before you start criticizing. Like a lot of people have said, there are many beautiful places in the UK. It's just a matter of doing some research but if you still don't like it, that's cool, it's your opinion after all.

2. "The roads are so small". Kid, back here our roads are all messed up or we just don't have them. If you're a fan of muscle cars, that's fine but, I don't think that's good enough to overlook the fact that you have nice roads that work. Think about that next time you're on the road.

3. "Tea drinking obsession". Unless your parents or someone else forces you to drink tea, I don't know what the problem is. Some people like it, some don't. Are you using the word "obsession" accurately or did you just use it to emphasize the fact that a lot of people drink tea?

4. The EU. Won't comment on this point.

5. The government. I read a lot of news websites from around the world and as far as I can tell, your current government isn't doing so bad, I think (just based on what I've read, maybe I'm totally wrong). However, you should research carefully before claiming that all UK residents would agree with you on the fact that your government only makes things worse. I really, really doubt it...

6. Football is not for everyone. I personally enjoy watching it and here in my country it's the most popular sport there is but I don't have any sympathy for football die hard fans or hooligans. I don't think you can do anything about this mate, it's what a lot of people like.

7. Lack of variety. I guess this depends on how much of the countryside you have personally seen. However, I wouldn't criticize it just for "having fields".

8. I'm sorry, are you so handsome that the rest of us hurt you with our ugliness? Think long and hard before you say something like this, mate. What's ugly for you may be beautiful for another person. Even if they're not what you would call "pretty", keep that to yourself instead of classifying them in "ugly" and "decent looking". Only shallow and disrespectful people would think this way.

9. Please, tell us how some inmigrant "stole" your job. I highly doubt that people are getting their jobs "stolen" from people who don't deserve the job, and not protest at all.

10. Boring foods. What does that even mean? I guess you meant exotic food or something like that. Do you think in other countries your food does somersaults for you before you eat it?

Final thoughts: I respect you as a human being, I respect your right to express yourself and your right to give your opinion in any way you might see correct. However, I would like you to rethink about your opinions after reading my post and see if you have the correct reasons for your opinions or not. I'm not saying that I know what is correct and what is not, just saying that you should get better sources for your opinions. It will make you a smarter person and maybe a better one too. Good day to you!!!

I've been wanting to respond to this with a unique American perspective.

1) Nothing can compare to 3rd world cities or even American "3rd world cities" such as modern day Detroit.

2) Because you Brits fancy the 2 seat sports car, not the wide as balls muscle car. Plus the time of roads and muscle cars weren't even created in the same era to accommodate. This makes complete sense.

3) I'm American and love tea, what's wrong with you?

4) Valid point. I'd be annoyed if suddenly Canada and Mexico had any say so in influencing laws.

5) All governments suck.

6) People here obsess with Baseball and I don't care.

7) Be glad you don't live in a 120F+ desert in a war zone.

8) Try harder. This is like saying all Brits have bad teeth or all Americans are 400lbs walking sacks of fat. People differ all over the place and everyone has differing tastes.

9) Newsflash, a fair amount of your ancestors did terrible things in my country, they were immigrants. I'm sure there is a decent amount of countries that were violated by the British empire. Your complaints of immigrants falls on deaf ears.

10) The UK doesn't serve exclusively British classic meals, I don't think any modern Western nation does. If Japan can have Mcdonalds, I'm sure you have way more than fish and chips.

Being that you are only 13 and I am twice your senior, your thoughts now will mature as you grow older, it's a typical angsty phase teens go through where they don't appreciate anything. Give it some time to fully mature and reflect on the world more.

-much word, very letter, so opinion, wow-

I liked this, it's great to get an unbiased opinion from someone who doesn't originate from the UK. And just because I can...
