No photo above so I will rate this one again. Personally I am not a fan of the people in the photo, I find them too distractingand  also there appears to be a lot of noise. Apart from that I like the subject, just wish I could see it properly. 7/10

7/10, you can't distinguish much, other than the fact that it is water.

What can I say. It's a ladder. Good angle, first two steps appear out of focus, however, and it's overall pretty uninteresting. Good location though 6/10.

 

After seeing some of the fireworks photography above, I decided to try out some for myself. Shot this at around 100mm, 10 second exposure. Framing is a little off but oh well.

Playing with my 85mm f/1.2. Shooting this wide open is really playing with fire cause who the hell knows what exactly you'll end up focusing on.

The framing is fantastic.

The color just fits.

The focus is very close to perfect.

I love the subject.

 

Disliked(Cons)

Only thing I really have to say is the cone that is not in or out of the frame on the left side. 

 

Overall 9.9/10 I really really love this shot!

6/10 love me blue stuff

The issue I have with it is that its a picture that should really draw you in (imo), but it doesn't seem to do that for me... If it showed more of the face being climbed I think it would be better--so shot down a bit, or shot up from further down.

This is darn near perfect. Only thing that is not perfect is the right side is a bit dark.

 

But darn this is good looking holly cow! 9.5/10 wow.

Black and white I just feel that this takes a lot of pop away from the photo.

The picture would be nice if the color balance wasn't off. It seems too blue. Next time try to set the correct white balance by using a grey card. Also if you use exposure compensation by +2 then that should keep the sensor from trying to expose everything to the same scale of 18% grey. Other than that it would be a great picture.

I know I wasn't the one to rate the photo but just as a bit of input, I think the rider is sharp and in focus but doesn't take up enough frame so the motion blur kind of takes over the shot making the rider appear out of focus.

Agreed. The sad part is that they ride fast, so framing is pure luck, or even catching him in a zoomed shot.
