Compare your PC to a car

Any modern non-exotic performance car. It's a bit of a sleeper. Just a little box (Node 304) with some decent higher-end parts crammed inside. ;) Kind of like a Golf GTi or Genesis coupe.

The HTPC on the other hand is more like a [new] FIAT 500. Not particularly fast, but small, practical, nimble and fun.

Maybe something like a Fiesta ST. Fun car to drive, relatively inexpensive, and can be used as a family car. I guess what I am trying to say is PRACTICAL.

Also note that I like Rally racing, aswell as hatchbacks.

Are skylines not illegal in the USA right now? (R32,33 are not but the R34 still is for another few years i think)... perhaps because it was reassembled in the USA makes the difference? Also the most important question Was it a GT-ST or GTR!

Yeah the car has to be 25 years old in the US I believe. Yeah the reassembly makes it legal, although I think thats probably due to poor expression of the legislation making some sort of a loop hole though not that it is a specific exception.

I'd say it's a Mercedes Benz SLR Maclaren.

It's real fast  and reliable but not a supercar (yet).

I'll say my laptop is a Kia Picanto, it may be slow and not meant for performance but miles per gallon are excellent (battery life is over six hours) and reliable, plus it gets somewhat fast when you need it to, and gets you from point A to point B

I have a 2010 picanto and i strongly disagree with the somewhat fast  :D

Mine would be a Peugeot 205 GTI

Doesn't look so good but packs a punch under the hood.

my EVGA Hadron build with an overclocked 4770k and 780 is the car equivalent to a Subaru Forester STi,  small black box with as much potential as a full sized computer. unassuming and potent.

This because it is fast and electric lol. SLS AMG Merc. Electric.

A counter intuitive combination of bargain basement utility and high end performance, my parts somehow manage to work quite well together, despite the disparity in their ages and price-points.
