Firstly, can you please use punctuation and proper grammar? :)

Second, there's not much you can do once someone had their mind made up. They'll have to come around themselves.

Throw her shit away and replace it with good quality stuff when she's not home.

Happy wife, happy life.

Let her do what she wants.

And then she'll find you hanging in the garage because of her ignorance. :P

Shut up and move on with your life.

This is coming from someone who has never been in a relationship. This may have everything or nothing to do with my following the above advice. YMMV

Do this: YOU buy the headphones you suggested her and show them off as often as possible without making it too obvious. Make sure you have an ecstasiated expression when you listen to music with them. Also conveniently leave them is a very accessible place while you don't use them. Your gf will eventually try them while you aren't watching out of curiosity and she'll be convinced.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

1: Do not control her habits. It seems like a strange idea, but she is allowed to do as she will. Sure, you may want to push on her the better options, but it NEVER works. I have a sister who likes Beats by Dre. I have finally convinced her otherwise after going through three pairs of them.

2. Let her just do as she will. For all you know, she views your computer and parts the same way you view her audio choices.

Because its frustrating its like someone who thinks the world is flat and wont go to the edge because they will fall of the only thing that matters is what they say because they know everything but if she would just try something new she actually might like it.

Okay, the difference isn't that astounding.

People value different qualities in audio. For example, some people prefer heavy bass while some like a flat signature. Sure, if she tries something new, she may like it. But the way you are approaching it is completely wrong. Try a different approach. Let her try the stuff you recommend. Let it blow her mind. If it doesn't blow her mind, then she simply doesn't like it/doesn't care. I could almost give a damn less about audio personally. It's not something of top priority. It's something I value to a certain extent.

And is it really in fashion now to complain about your SO on a tech forum?

Well then you're getting way too wound up with this.

For the most part, people will learn from their mistakes and their inexperience. And if they don't, they will learn to learn from their mistakes.

retreat to a safe distance and toss chocolate at her

Honestly, this. Retreat and cool down. Shit won't always go your way. If you're so unhappy, then leave her. But don't get so emotionally wound around a person's choices. It will drive you insane.

Should they be informed? Yeah, but if they aren't and you can't inform them, the best thing to do is stand back and wait for it to blow.

By the way, and I don't want to seem like a complete fuckstick by saying this, but she seems like a very spoiled, materialistic person. I could be very wrong though, and I may just be misunderstanding.

And on the topic of the whole SO thing, it was more of a joke based on the rediculous things I have seen in Off-topic, including someone mentioning their "size" being only 16.

Chloroform ...

Most of the jokes in this thread from people were pretty funny, but you made it escalate quickly. You win the Oscar for morbidness.
