You have almost the same laptop as mine. I run a T61p with 2.0GHz C2D, FX570m, and 4GB RAM on a 1200p screen.  Games well for the few games I tried on it.

that's nice, I ran into a problem with it last night :/

What problem did you have?

The only issue I have ran into, other than breaking the hinges of the original screen and destroying a HDD (gets dropped a lot because I am an idiot) is it sometimes refuses to start up, but It is always fixed by removing teh keyboard reinstalling it. Don't know what the issue is, but still a great laptop.

my lowest spec rig would be my laptop i5 2430m 2.4 GHz with 8 gb ram and intel 3000 graphics.

actually my third pc might suck more, intel pentium dual core E6500 2.9 GHz 4 gb ddr2 ram and a geforce 9500 GT

my second pc is quite good with a celeron dual core 2.5 GHz (LGA 1155 not sure what model cpu though) and a GTX 450.

the rest of my pc parts were given to friends. (mostly GPUs like my 660 Ti, and 560) and an i3 530 so I would have actually had 4 pc's if I kept all my parts.

Could be a lot of things, but did you try restarting the system? (I am assuming froze is a software issue).

It would probably be better to start a new thread though instead of continuing derailing this one.

is that the 512 mb version or the 1 gig, I have both at my parents place in a closet and the 512 just plain sucks while the 1 gig can play some games around 5-10 fps better

Just remembered my other old laptop. :P

Intel 8086 7MHz

640KB RAM

Some onboard graphics

320x240 LCD

And a massive 20MB HDD.

lol @terrytek right now.

Not all that bad but the Videocard is the worst ... it's not even meant for Gaming

You could easily put a GTX 760 in that system (maybe with a new power supply) and then only really bottleneck would be the RAM since there isn't all that much of it.

cpu: pentium 4 (i won't even get in the trouble to search the model)

mobo: asus p5ld2-deluxe

gpu: ati 4850

ram: 512mb

.

.

i'm surprised it still operates... the psu has been working for half a year without a fan..

I think i'm using it since 2005. it's still my main pc that i use for browsing and movies. You must have guessed gaming is out of the question and it takes place strictly on a ps3.

For some reason my parents do not really consider it a problem since it is still running all day long without a problem. I swear I'll rip 'em off in the summer(they promissed a new pc)...
