How low can you go?

I went for 3 months with my craptop...

Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 2.0GHz

15.6" 1366×768 TN,of course.

2GB DDR2-667 RAM

3200GB 5400RPM hard drive

Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics (this thing is so so soooo baaaad)  - it has 64MB RAM

Weight: 5.9 lbs
Dimensions: 15.1” (W) x 9.9” (D) x 1.5” (H)
Battery is very shitty.I barely get 15 mins out of it.
It idles at around 90 celsius.

41009.jpg

The integrated GPU is so bad...I can't even describe it.5FPS in Minecraft on the lowest settings, the same in Portal 2.Heck,I can't even play Gothic 2(released in 2003) at over 15fps.

Oh my god, i had the same thing, ALMOST THE SAME, it is actually e-machines, but the company is owned by acer, the specs are the same, I actually could push it in cod4 on 60 fps, and some people used modded drivers that made the gpu use 192mb of VRAM, but it still isnt huge performance increase. Now i said to my dad, buy me a laptop with a 7570, and he goes to me with a radeon 7310.... FK!

I honestly have no clue. I think it is though, when I opened up my case to give it a clean, I didn't see a graphics card so yeah I think it probably is built in.

Quite impressed considering it's age :)

Two years ago, i had :

-Core 2 due 2.6Ghz

-Some random OEM Mobo

-2GB of DDR3

-250GB Seagate Bracuda HDD

-150W PSU

i played CRYSIS2 on this config with the integrated Graphics at 800x600 window mode Ultra Low Settings with around 15FPS

and before that back in 2007 i had :

-a pentium CPU i can't remember but it was 2.4Ghz

-512MB DDR2 Ram

-128GB HHD

and the rest is BS

i played NFS MW2005 on this with Ultra Low at i'd say "Solide" 20FPS

Crysis 2 is funny really, it's really easy to run, even C1 is far more demanding on lowest :P

True, i was surprised that the Game even took off, i was expecting a Power down, Long error message, but it worked, ohhh the old days, i miss them because now, you don't get that exited when you download a new Game, because you know it's gonna run at Ultra just fine meh, but before, the Setup takes ages and wile waiting you're wondering will run, will it not and the heart beat is raising, you're waiting the setup is at 95%~96~98 .100% you go for it and it runs, yeaaah

My system that I currently use has the following specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz

4GB DDR2 @ 667MHz

NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB DDR3 vRAM w/ 128-bit memory bus.

300W PSU

The main game I play occasionally is Need For Speed World. I believe I play it on high settings @ 1080p and it performs pretty well. But I'm not really a gamer. I mostly video edit because it's my preferred thing to do. I plan to upgrade to the rig in my sig as soon as possible.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

I forgot to mention that my grandparents have a still-working computer with a Pentium III that operates at 632-635 MHz, whichever it feels like from boot to boot, 512 MB of RAM, an 80 GB HDD (Were those popular back in the day?), and a Radeon 7600 (or something) series graphics card. I haven't even TRIED to play Minecraft on it, because it just WOULDN'T run. xD

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

Also, if anyone has their mind corrupted by an anthropomorphic black latex bat, please let me know. I would like to join you.
