The Conexant drivers are for the Bang and Olufsen Audio. If you download and dig through it you will find references and icons.

I absolutely hate everything about driver management on OEMs. HP has the worst. First of all there is a bug on their website that if I start to download a list of a lot of drivers, only a few actually get to my downloads and the others don't. I spent a LOT of time only selecting a few downloads at a time. And second, the driver installers are trash. There is only a sometimes a freaking wrapper which runs a freaking cmd script to install the driver. No GUI, no progress bar, no nothing.

Anyways, I am clean installing Windows 11 right now on a dual boot with 10. The machine I am installing on has Bang and Olufsen speakers. But from HP website I got the Conexant drivers. There are no drivers for BO. What is this?

HP EliteBook 840 G5 Notebook PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support. Checked both for 10 and 11.

Microsoft owns my soul.

Also, Dell is evil, but HP kinda nice.

That's why all my OEM machines are Dell. Throw the Service Tag (serial number) into their support site, and you get Dell-hosted download links to all the BIOS updates and drivers for that specific machine in its factory configuration. No account, support contract, or other BS needed.

HP's support site was always terrible, and it only got worse after they split in two. They've never been "kinda nice".

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

The B&O is probably the speakers, not the audio device.

Hate to break it to you but the B&O partnership was really just marketing with little to no substance.
