My laptop was a Pentium Dual Core 1.73Ghz with GMA945 integrated graphics with 2GB of ram. The only games that I could play were League of Legends at 30fps on low and Battlefield Play4Free. :/

It isn't even a graphics card that's why. It is just a weak CUDA acceleration card for some simulation that my gob requires and that's about it (its an issued work laptop, my home PC is listed on my profile)

Would you believe it? CS:Source is CPU bottlenecked, i turned res to 1770x1000 plugged into TV, and the GPU handles it!!!

Video to be uploaded :D

1080 frikken P... well almost anyway, CPU bottlenecked almost the entire time with quite a bit of FPS droppage.

Video will be 720p i assume.

Mine would be Lenovo T60 laptop.

CPU: C2D T5600 1.83GHz

GPU: Radeon X1400M

RAM: 2gigs of DDR2 800MHz

HDD: 320Gb

I've added ram and bigger HDD plus changed CPU cooler. Currently its running Ubuntu and only major game I play is Heartstone with Wine. It has ran BF2 with low, ETQW with huge lag and CS1.6 pretty ok.

This is one of the best threads ever.

I know it is probably not what LTT or LMG wants to see since using old computers won't sell anything they're hocking but hey not everyone needs the state of that art computer to get the job done, and everyone so far has proven this to be fact.

I would only wish people could post benchmarks or even their Windows score crap to burn the other side of the spectrum for spending all that cash on tech that wasn't needed. If this is all you need then I can see why the Desktop market isn't selling more since why buy when you can keep using till it dies?

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

CPU: Intel Celeron M 723 @ 1.2 GHz

GPU: Intel GS45 Integrated Chipset video controller (Clocked at a blazing fast 533MHz)

Monitor: Acer S200HL and my laptop screen, the Lenovo LP121WX3-TLC1

Storage: WD WD2500BEVS-08VAT2 (WD Scorpio Blue, 250GB, SATA I)

RAM: One stick of Samsung 2GB DDR3-800 SODIMM, another stick with same specs but from Mushkin, 6-6-6-15 timings

My oldest rig:

Intel Pentium 4 HT 530 @ 3GHz single core

Intel 82915G Express

512MB DDR-400

250GB Caviar SATA1

though I really don't think that's going to cut it so here's my second worst rig:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 @ 1.8 GHz dual core

Intel 965 Express

2GB DDR2

250GB unknown

this one actually plays CrossFire pretty well.

It sits on my shelf doing nothing. It used to in one of my older file servers. But plex transcoding on it wasn't very good. So swapped it out for a low powered sandy bridge i5
