I have seen Inno3d mentioned a few times on the forum. I am not familiar with Inno3d and I was wondering if any of you know why they are being recommended. Are they clocked higher or maybe they are slimmer than other brands? The last GPU I bought was during the big pandemic shortage so I bought what I could get my hands on with no concern about the vendor.

Inno3d is recommended for folding rigs because they have 2 slot versions of cards. They aren't the ONLY option, some of the zotac cards are small too. As long as whoever you buy a card from has a good warranty you will be okay. You can look at card to card comparisons across different manufacturers. Some people hate zotac, but I have never had a problem out of them.

Ignorance is bliss, as I'm running Asahi Linux I can't tell how much my Mini is cooking.

 

Though considering the default fan curve sucked on MacOS and I had to make the fan quite audible to get it to sane values, I'm guessing its running REAL hot.

The start and end of winter are perfect. Just cold enough the folding rig keeps the apartment temp consistent, but not so cold the real heater kicks on.

I had to turn most of my machines off for a variety of reasons, but I'm going to try to get everything back up and running for this last stretch. Just need to figure out why F@h won't run on my office PC (RTX 2070 Super and GTX 1080).
