I went with "LEFTBRAIN" and "RIGHTBRAIN" for now.

All mine are Named after Futurama Characters/places/things/Robots

All my computers are named after robots from star wars. Current system is blue & white named R2D2 , working on an orange & white build for my sister gonna name it BB8.

Well, that was exciting - do we have a dead hardware post yet? Went to fire up one of my Rigs with old GPUs in it (3080s ) that was working a couple of weeks ago when I staged everything and it was giving me FSCK errors - luckily had a spare SSD which had Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS on it so got it up and running. Started it folding and - bam - crashed again. Swapped the GPUs into another Rig that has a 2070 Super Hybrid and just got it Folding.

 

So, down an 128GB SanDisk SSD (ancient) and a Aorus x570 Gaming.

For others running the F@H Beta 8.1.18 client build the my new Alpha Web Client is here https://webclient.lar.systems/ runs directly in the web browser and does not require a browser extension.   It does not work with V7 of F@H that still needs the browser extension.

 

I have taken your report otherwise under advisement and will need to setup a Linux machine on my end to see if F@H is just not providing the same client data the same way as I tap in to more than they use in their clients GUI and for all I know it's not consistent across all OS versions as they have 4 OS builds now.

 

I have been more focused on getting the GUI worth looking at and it push/pulling all the device & project information from the database site so it's starting to come together... that said lots of odd little bugs that are in part because there appears to be lots of odd little bugs still in the F@H V8 client and they have not updated the available build so wait and see what the next version brings.

 

Going to keep hacking at it, as this is all still very Alpha but I will reach out again once I get my "submit debugging info" API setup so that I can just get a snapshot of the state of web client sent to me in a way I can remotely diagnose OS/Browser issues.   Always building new tools lol.

My folding computer is my main system, I named it Reiwa, the previous build was Heisei. My laptops are Susanoo and Amaterasu, and my phone is Benzaiten. It started in High School when I was a weeaboo, and I just didn't stop the tradition.

D.B.H.D 1  - 3x 4080 and 2x 4070ti bifurcated rig 40-45 ppd

Looks at my 2x 3070s, 3070m 3060m and 5700xtx and cries….

 

leela my 2060 is out of commission due to lack of memory for now…i may have sold the ram to a friend that needed it asap. And may have forgotten that until i tried to turn it on today lol… 

 

i also have a framework 16 w/o gpu on order (batch 8) to possibly replace my XPS 15 (My uncle wants my XPS) kinda hope a 4070m or 4060m will be avaliable for it. But if the 7700s is decent i may get it but want to see how it works first. This will just be a daily driver/Lite gaming computer i have my Alienware for real gaming.
