I was already spending around 1k on a new monitor and other accessories. I just happened to remember that LTT has a referral link to amazon.

Total was $900. I'm all for making someone some money some how!

I can't tell for sure since I can't watch this one because it's "not available in my country" or some bullshit, but I think this is the same video, in case anyone else has my problem:

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Looks same to me from the thumbnails :), really digging what I can find on YT.  Going to look them up on iTunes when I can pry my iPad back from my partner.

I just tried out rocket league as it's a steam free weekend (I like it -- I think I'll buy it). The first thing I said when I opened it is "This really needs some anti-aliasing."

Fortunately, that's an option.

It's playable -- not ideal, but definitely playable.

Go ahead and get it. I don't have a controller now but I might get one in the future.

is it just me who finds the number of people asking "what should I do with *insert old tech here*" on these forums hilarious? Some people have no imagination to come up with cool projects or fun on their own...

Just saw this for a product description on Amazon:

Quote

  • 10-25 days delivery time.
  • Exquisite products with good quality and reasonable, be profitable price.
  • Please refer to the product description.
  • If you have any questions, contact us contact.
  • Quality assurance, because you're undecided?

A profitable price, you say?  Hm, I'm not sure that's something the customers need to know... xD Reminds me of this:

99fe98906d5901301d7d001dd8b71c47

And then there's that last point.  Like, they're just sitting around thinking "hm, what else... uh, quality assurance?  Yeah, people like that, right?" xD

When me and a souple friends play GTA Online,

I'm passenger in a helicopter

the helicopter crashes, I die, and when I respawn, it says I'm in a session for myself.

I minimize the game, and notice that no webpages load, Skype is offline and Spotify is offline. I pull my phone up and checks there; Doesn't work. I disable wifi on my phone and try again; Works like a charm on the cellular network.

I tell my friends on Skype that I lost my internet connection, and get a reply saying they did too.

Seems to be that amazing network of Telenor's, which under normal circumstances adds a latency of 10-30 ms all by itself, according to traceroutes, where 99.9% of the latency seems to come from the third out of a total of 11 hops to Google.
