Thanks for the concern everyone. We are still in recovery mode over here and working with YouTube to get everything restored. Will hopefully have a video (or at least an update on WAN Show) to share with you all ASAP, but we want to make sure we get the details right since smaller channels may rely on our experience to help harden their own security.

Wait, the main LTT channel is gone, can’t find it in my sub list or in notifications

It'll be fixed eventually. People just need to be patient and wait, things like this takes time. Part of the normal process for YT to deal with hacked channels is to just completely shut everything down

This is starting to look pretty serious... I was kind of expecting a pretty quick fix and some laughs about it on wan show later.  They seem to be getting hit pretty hard everywhere.  Even the form here has been going down.  Not sure if that's just normal traffic due to the hack or if it's a DDOS...

The Discord server showed Plouffe as online half an hour ago. They are probably aware, most accounts that were on the Discord in sleep state are logged out now probably for security reasons.

Yeah they're too busy putting out a million fires right now to update us, they've got bigger fish to fry. Kinda amazed the forums haven't been taken offline TBH as a precaution.

It's been terminated, Probably because of some of the videos broke Youtube's guidelines.

its not "illegal" but you shouldn't share them, because, you know, they are supposed to be private and stuff.

technically they are copyrighted so dont try to reupload/share them

I don't know why this makes me so angry. I hope Linus doesn't hold the community back from going after the perps in this case. I'm confident there is more than enough talent in the community to give whomever is responsible a very bad day.
