[US] $10 midtower Tempered Glass ATX case, shipped by newegg

ZC12

https://www.newegg.com/hws-001-black/p/2KH-00AW-00001
Pretty sure it also comes with 3xRGB front fans, but the description is a bit vague about it, tbh if you want a cheap case with fans its a steal.

Usually I wouldnt buy @ this kind of price, but its shipped by newegg so ig its real.

Edit: Looks oos now, congrats on whoever got it :#

Its basically a scam. The postage tells as much.

Also these pictures are from a different exisiting case and this one is poorly photoshopped.

That exisiting case also has no airflow pretty much due to using thin washers for spacing between the front glass and case.

Uh yea, but it was shipped by newegg so both fast shipping, and I assume they semi-verify the contents of the fullfillments

uh ngl I usually take that stance, but only cause it was shipped by newegg and I expect some verification on the fullfillments, so if someone buys a case they obviously wont ship a brick, wouldn't post it if it was 3rd party fullfillment.

Edit: I know its not a good case, but for that price if you just want it for family PC that really doesnt get that hot I dont see a reason not to get it, especially if it supposedly comes with 3 fans.
I assumed it was that heavily marked done cause nobody  bought that case and they had too many in storage or w/e

At this price point, I would assume 0 fans. Fans are about 1/2 the cost of a PC case normally, so for it to include any fans under $30 makes you question how good the fans are.

Assuming there *is* a variant with light up fans, I'd imagine they are static "rainbow" fans, as in the LED's are a fixed color and cannot be changed. If they don't specify RGB, it's not color changing.

To me this is more of a "wow that's stupid inexpensive" more than "wow that's a killer value" because nothing about this case is valuable at all. It's likely worth more in scrap than this listed price.

With a brand name like that, I'll be... giving it a miss.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

This doesn't appear to be on sale. Assuming this is legit, how are they supposed to make any money from it? The cost of materials alone is likely to be higher than 10$.

Not to mention the fact that it's being sold and shipped by a third party.

So many red flags, avoid like the plague.

  • 2 weeks later...

it's newegg, your gonna get something random that u didnt order and then they won't accept your RMA.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)
