pirated steam games you bought? I am confused

Well they thought steam and all the download traffic was illegal torrents for some reason. So I bi*ched them out for a few minutes. And the weird things was it said something about a publishers legal departments filing a dmca claim or something. It said skyrim. But as far as I know I bought skyrim.

how the fucks confuses steam whit a pirate site, do you isp lives under a rock or what? also maybe the dmca claim was to your neighbor or something, pretty sure they tracked that by IP, and they had to do the switch recently, unless you have a static IP

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

i use to have the second best link in the world here, but it died ;_; its a 404 now but it will always be here

Dear Bethesda, why is it illegal for me to buy your game, and is buying your game such a crime that you order my ISP to shut down my internet?

For those who are confused, OP bought games off steam /legally/, but their ISP is owned by a bunch old cats who confused the service Steam with the likes of Piratebay.

Steam is not an illegal service. Someone in the ISP is trying to pull one over you. Tell them you're more than happy to provide proof that you bought the game and you should have gotten a transaction email from Steam.

both your isp and bethesda are in the wrong tweet bethesda that they filed a claim on a game you bought and ask why and get your parents to call the isp ask for customer service and say you are disappointed with the service for a false flag and they should compensate you with uncapped bandwidth for may.  neither of which will get you anything most of the time so dont hold your breath, but you might get an apology

its GE (pause) TechNicks

They hung up and brought my internet back :/ good enough for me on my ISP part. I assume they were just stupid and didn't know better.

Wow man, that stinks how you bought games and they say you know what? Screw him paying us 150$ dollars a month, lets shut his internet off for trying to play games. Once, my internet went down cause my paycheck got delayed *my parents make me pay my portion for some $hit reason*, and I was piggy backing on my friends 3 days later he got a phone call about, they added 50$ to the bill because of multiple ISP or something like that... so I got my internet back and actually surprised that verzion didn't shut me down after all the porn and games I illegally downloaded. o

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.
