For the mouse lag, disable vsync.....it will run silky smooth. Very good horror themed 3PS....

this isnt a vsync issue. its a engine mechanic issue.

I hate games which have 3rd person and mouse lag. Too much unresponsive. 
e.g. Prototype 2, Dead Space, etc

Not saying they're bad but it's just my view on it

I think it was intended to be played with a controller. Which is what I play most 3rd person games with anyway, so I didn't notice any issues with it.

i thought the mouse lag was me anyway i finished that game twice loved it!!

i was using the controller so that thing didn't bother me

It's actually a pretty smart idea to make Dead Space free forever only on Origin. The game is old anyway. A high profile game that's free will drive people to the platform and to the series itself.

 

This would benefit EA greatly. Glad they are too stupid to actually figure this out or we might have to like them.

I haven't even played it, but hell when Origin gives away a free game once in a blue moon so I hopped on that. It just good to have some extra random games even if you don't install them.

Thats BA this might be one of the best games I have played absolutly beautiful I feal like I am in the Alien movie when I play this game. Best atmosphere in any game ever but be warned this is a terrible port mouse is unusable I somehow fixed it a long time ago but I can't remember right now what I did. But with a controller it plays just fine.

Dude, whatever the issue is, disabling vsync eliminated the issue for those of us who had actually gotten the game at launch. Whatever the cause is, disabling vsync made the game silky smooth....that's all that matters to me.
