I'm running Windows 8 so what is this.

it stiol exists, my win8 rating is oike 7.1, will try with my ssd a second time

I have Windows 8.1 so this is no longer available on my OS, thou before that I think I had a score of 7.7, because of my SSD...

It doesn't rate your RAM based on quantity, but rather it's frequency. (Memory Operations Per Second)

Just ran it again, ram stayed the same, which 7.8 for 1600mhz, seems fair I guess considering it's not a cap, but since I ran it last time for this thread I dropped to 7.6 for my processor.   Disappointing.

Your 8350 got a 7.4? Mine got 7.7 and I haven't even overclocked :S

It´s your motherboard :) different motherboards, do diferent scores because it made with diferent circuits and chips so one mobo can have more performance than the other one ;)

I think mine was around 5.5-5.7 before Win8. My crappy hard drive kept it down.

as far as i remember i read somewhere its impossible to get higher than 5.9 if you have a hard drive instead of an ssd

so this topic is pretty much who has an ssd and who doesent

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?

Its not in 8.1 anympre because it was so useless and irrelevant.

When I was running W7, 7.9 for everything then 7.8 for RAM and CPU.

I used to do this at win7 and win8 but after I upgraded to windows 8.1 can't seem to find it anymore

With my old Dell, I got this. Using the Microsoft video driver (the one Windows uses by default) and the networking drivers. No audio drivers or any crap like that. Be jealous. Windows 7 SCREAMS on this thing, possibly a little faster than what Vengeance was (at least doing basic tasks). Specs are at the end of the post.
