Honestly, I kind of find his voice annoying. Lil Uzi Vert and X blow the two out of the water though imo.

/s = the comment that the /s had was sarcastic

I haven't really been listening to him much. Much more underground rap has been in my playlists.

Feels like he blew up a little in reaction to his death, and then it all died down. Any other artists you listen to?

my loyal hometown, pORtland!!!!

I've never been into Drake because his flow is kinda generic and the ghostwriters, but he gets really good beats because of his popularity.

Yeah, true drake is a bit generic, and honestly his popular songs like gods plan and in my feelings are pretty shit. Amine is pretty good tho, I might go to one of his concerts soon.

His concerts are pretty good from what I understand but he hypes up the Portland concerts because its where he's from.

Yeah, he's coming to my university in like a month, and since its only like 30 bucks to go, I might have to take it.

@Volbet  So, I found out something interesting today.  Joe Satriani taught Larry LaLonde how to play guitar, and that Larry helped create Death Metal before he was in Primus.

That's pretty interesting. I didn't know Joe Satriani taught guitar to Larry LaLonde. Kinda like how Eric Clapton taught guitar to Jimi Hendrix.

I did however know Larry LaLonde used to be in Possessed. I don't remember which Primus album it was, beut when I was young some marketing genuis decided to promote the album by linking it heavily to Possessed. A very weird strategy, really.

Also, he and Les Claypool were in a thrash band together before Primus.

Again, not something I was aware of. It's not really my thing, but it has a cool Yngwie Malmsteen and Jason Becker feel to it.
