Can you help me to reflect the 5G signal to my neighbor?!

That bastard have gone far enough, and I want to control his mind with the 5G signal, please I need help!

Also it has been mentioned about using the phones as towers to carry these signals to others, so does that mean I can use 5G laser beams on people?!?!

Please, we got to know! (just don't try to make a 5G track for mario racing and getting the whole neighborhood to start an racing challange outdoors)

Being an electrical engineer, I honestly don't know where to start here. The only useful thing you could do with that (besides using it as a paper holder as it was originally meant to) is to do another collab with ElectroBOOM...

Seriously though, what a stupid ass product.

Buuuut if they are willing to believe in the bad wifi's then why not sell to stupid people?

Anyone remember the DVD-Rewinder?

These TECHNICALLY aren't Faraday Cages. To be a Faraday Cage they would need to be grounded. I'd love to see a follow up video where you guys do ground them and see the impact on range.

Put a capacitive dropper power supply and a led  in a tiny box in the corner and use a grounded power cable and you're golden.

They already do it for the power saving devices which are scam

Then they buy a real product that blocks any waves, like ridge wallet, buy one today!

But will they do a video on a tier list of routers and if they do what you expect, like range, speed, multiple devices and testing out wifi 6?

might be way too much work, kinda would like to see what the different performance they might have and from a more "gaming" to a more "office" like router.

I don't get it, why not just disable wifi on the router/AP?

I wonder if something like this (obviously not this particular product paper tray, but a faraday cage in general) has any use in extreme overclocking? I know Jay was having issues with interference from his wireless lavalier mics causing instability with LN2 overclocks.

I'm no electrical engineer or anything, but I've also been under the impression that a proper Faraday-cage would be grounded. Without grounding, it's more like just bad shielding?

EDIT: After research, this doesn't appear to be the case. The reason those cages worked so poorly is because the mesh wasn't tight enough, not because they weren't grounded.

@Grabhanem actually PSU have emf standards, and well, bad PSU can be problem for the OC, but it's usually the ripple on power cables, nad voltage regulation, not the emf by itself, by air.

But then we get to, can emf have effect on ripple, and I will already tell you, that I don't know.

You may see a Faraday cage, I see a very useful, while extremely well ventilated, PC case :)

Send'm to Steve at GN and I think he'll test the snot out of them to conclude they have excellent airflow! 🤣

Here is free tech tip from me: buy an RF Explorer. Don't use a phone as reference. Maybe the shielding just filters out the bad frequencies. Ever thought about that? 😉

I sometimes got the slight feeling you are really bad equipped for a company focussing on technology.

Just to be the devil's advocate ...  over here in Romania, some ISP's give you their modem and force on one wireless network of their own ( "WI-Free" ) that their customers can use when around your place. You can't turn that off.

A proper faraday cage that actually works would be nice to stump on that practice.

The cage causes waves to reflect and scatter inside. Basically, look at your microwave glass door. If you ground it, the effect is going to be enhanced as some of the waves will be shorted to ground directly and not bounce back/scatter.

Disabling that wireless functionality would only help you if there's absolutely no other wireless networks around you.

You're most likely in an apartment building where every apartment has some kind of wireless ... I'm in Romania on the 4th floor of a 4 story apartment building and I see 15 wireless networks besides my own, and you can see wireless access points from two different ISPs :
