I think most people here can agree with me. It gets faster (and usually better) results than Bing. And personally I love the nice clean interface.

Sorry!  :P But my answer still remains the same, Google loads MUCH faster than Bing or Yahoo... and it always seems to display more relevant results.

google has so many features that make your search much faster, it's amazing

op never heard of deep web
if only google can earch in the %96 ..........

there is no search engine that can search in the deep web as much as google can search in the normal web

so, google is still the best

and i think darknet is negligible if you're not looking for things that you shouldn't be looking for

If there was something better than google, you'd probably know about it.

Like... how often does anyone go to page 2 of a google search?

The best anything is the one that meets your requirements. Why not post/think of a list of things you want from a search engine and then see if Google can do it? Maybe your list will be skewed if you use Google (You might just put what you know google can do).

It depends, Google and DuckDuckGo are two of my favourite ones I prefer DuckDuckGo for work though.

I really like DuckDuckGo for its "Bangs" feature, it's really convenient but it's not good at finding results in my native language so I use Google for that. Some people say Google is really fast, I would say it's the slowest of the bunch that I have used.

not for me, I don't care for email integration, and the search results are different depending on the engine I use so for me there is no "best" search engine, just different which suit different purposes.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I know what you mean. If someone designs a search engine as effective as google that can reach deeper than google than it could easily be replaced.

GOOGLE FTW!! Bing is downright the worst search engine ever. Period. Bing ruined it by overdoing integration of youtube, fb, and all other crap. It got so bad I banned Bing from my house and removed Bing as search engine in all browsers and I never used the search within Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 should use google instead.

I dont know if its the best but its defnetly the most reliable, fastest and cleanest one. If your searching really long things, you cant with google, going to have to try bing then(I tried like 200+letters and it didnt search with google but actually did with bing lol)
