[SPECULATION] LTT may have insider info on the 3060ti

In the most recent tech news video, Linus says "There's a rumor, and we want to clarify, this is just a rumor at this point....." at around 1:20.

 

This had never been clarified in any other rumor (that I know of). Most of the time its "There's a rurmor that blah blah blah blah". This is leading me to believe that LTT has info from Nvidia about the upcoming RTX 3000 gpus, but needed to report on that, so they clarified that it's just a rurmor.

 

I want to mention that this is only speculation, but I thought I should mention it.

Interesting. @HelpfulTechWizard has never said that in his posts before. There's been no other posts on the forum discussing whether or not LTT has information on a 3060ti. Does he maybe work for LTT and know something we don't???

It's not unusual for tech sites to get access to products before they're allowed to talk about them having it.

If Linus did have "insider information" then he would be under NDA and would simply not talk about it at all. In fact he has said as much before on WAN show, its not worth the risk of him reporting on a rumour and risking getting into trouble for saying something he shouldn't while under a legal obligation to not discuss it at all.

 

Also it wouldn't be insider information since Linus doesn't work for Nvidia, it would be early access.
