You guys like my pc?

The Mini-ITX board in a full ATX case just looks... odd. Also why is your rear case fan just loosely held with zap straps?

True... but it feels like we're headed towards Walmart PC territory here. Looks like there a generic grey PSU hiding in the bottom compartment there too.

No, I don't. Cable management is abysmal, not sure why you have an ITX mobo in a mid tower, the stock cooler makes me gag, your airflow makes no sense (all intakes, even on the back? wtf?), and both your side panels are missing. If this is how little effort you put into a PC, I'm terrified to see what the rest of your setup is like.

As a deliberate attempt to make a bad build it lacks imagination.  The case is too well designed for all it being 2 times too big.  There are really much much worse cases out there.   A reverse PSU 1fan case made of 20 gauge stamped steel that was mostly hard drive racks, that might have sold it.  Maybe leave a 3.5” drive in a front slot and ask how to attach it to a modern motherboard.  That would have been flair.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

These are my thoughts - I'm assuming that you have limited funds.

If you can get a better HSF.

Wires... tidy them up. Almost anything to route them out of the way. Make a choice - ease of access or aesthetics... Then mostly optimize for one of those criteria.

That’s the quandary: I’m seeing a good case and expensive memory and case fans.  The motherboard I can’t identify, other than it being itx or Matx.  Case is built for atx thoughts. cpu cooling is intel stock.  There’s something wonky with the fan cooler wiring.  Could be deliberate.  Hard to know.  PSU could be anything.  Looks kind of like it might be semi modular or non modular but might be full modular we can’t tell because it’s under a cover.  There are fan cables draped in front.  More cables than there are fans, which makes it seem like this may be a put up job.  The GPU is the oldest thing visible.  Older than the case by a lot I think.  I can’t tell.

It could be a very old build put in a new case, or someone with a really large number of parts that sort of halfway attempted to make a build that looked like it had problems. And just kind of threw wiring everywhere.  I can’t tell.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Lol I case swapped my old pc and since I wasn’t sure if it was going to be how I liked it I just threw it together. I’m soon getting an ATX sized motherboard and newer components.

Yeah it’s a MATX size motherboard but I am soon getting a new ATX size one. It looks a lot better now if you would like to see it.

Yes lol, it is a prebuilt that had a lot of old and off brand parts that I put into my new case. I needed a case first so I would have expansion room for new components. I just thought the build looked funny.

Yeah I buy most of my parts and I am only 12, the Components are from a prebuilt I have but I needed expansion room so I got a new case first. Since I didn’t know if it would work I just threw it together and it did work. I have since cable managed and I think it looks nice (besides the old outdated parts and the matx matherboard).

Much is explained.  It’s actually a good case choice then because it can hold most boards.   Lots of options.  You’ve got case, fans, and backup gpu covered for any new build.
