In ww2 there was a thing when male Japanese citizens claimed they were of Chinese extraction they were kept overnight to see how much facial hair they grew.  A primitive method that I suspect doesn’t hold up.  There was a lot wrong with that whole thing in general.

It is, though it called the miracle on the hudson( i call it by flight number because i am werid) bassicly bird strike happend to a plane and it landed in hudson river, NTSB said yeah you could have made it back in time if you had a reaction time of a robot. Well NTSB changed to say hey you did a good job. Now there is ways to defend against bird strikes.

If you are making video with eg. funny animals etc. just piss off with idea of putting any music to it. Especially generic YouTube or TikTok music. Music in those videos doesn’t make it better in 99.99% cases.

It’s going to be porn music.  The definition of porn music is apparently whatever is royalty free at the time.  In the 80’s that was 60’s music so it was all Marvin Gaye BOWchickaWOWwow.  So funny animal porn music is…. weird and creepy.

Are you talking specifically unicorn puke or just lighting. I think RGB fans and strips are fine, if you have a theme or have a color you want to display. Unicorn puke does bother me a bit.

Throbbing unicorn puke is of course it’s own kind of awful.  I’m tempted to go with almost all of it though. I could see an actual good use of rgb fans but it’s going to be a tiny percentage of cases.  There is a decent argument that rgb is a lot like paint.  It’s not good or bad it just is.  It can be good or bad though and it’s bad more often than it’s good.  I just had a thought about the throb actually.  It might be actually kind of interesting if the throb was so slow you couldn’t see it.  Like instead of a 10 second cycle like a 2 hour cycle.  Or a 24 hour cycle.  That one could be quite interesting actually if it could be set to accentuate daylight in a specific way…. Totally doable…. Hmmm…

Competetive gamers aversion to allowing randomness in their games means I will never see e-sports as real sports.

Real world sports, be it football, F1, Tennis, Golf, WRC etc are full of randomness. A part of being good at your sport is to be able to handle randomness and hopefully come out on top.

If the skill disparity is big the better practitioner will still come out on top 99,99% of the time.

Adaptability is sign of skill, current e-"sports" are just button mashing.

yeah there is too much marketing for some "competitive games" that has no balance as a sport and can't see it as a sport.

Its just all marketing, as for own random skills to be shown, you would likely need VR and real players playing the game also account for VR bugs or glitches.

Also the game to allow these skills to be shown, some e-sports are about being the "fastest" although starcraft and CSGO have something that one can show other skills, but often you do have to be the "fastest" to perform well anyways.  Football wouldn't work well, unless both teams get players with set skills and its about placing and using these characters in the best way like an active chess match, but would think VR football would be better?

The phrase I remember is tea so strong the spoon stands up.   The most caffeinated tea iirc is purah.  That’s the Chinese aged till it molds stuff. Has a rather particular flavor.  Served in a lot of chinese restaurants.  It’s apparently what is most commonly actually drunk in China. It’s caffeine content is even higher than coffee. English Breakfast is another one that is often made strong.  It includes this smoked black tea stuff whose name escapes me.  It reminds me most of bacon. They literally wood smoke it to accelerate the oxidation.  A very 18th century thing.  Black tea is oxidized green tea btw.  The whole concept of gunpowder green tea is to roll the leaf and dry it in a ball so only the exterior oxidizes.  The gun powder was ships cannon powder (to give you the idea of the period here) so the granules are much larger.  It was called seed powder and is more like fine gravel than even sand really. A gunpowder green tea granule is a whole leaf.  There a reason gunpowder green tea is heavy.  There’s really that much tea there.  It’s just a lot more dense.

All tea tree tea has caffeine in it.  Green and white just has less. If you want tea with absolutely no caffeine you have to drink herbal. White tea (made with new baby leaves) has a lot less but it’s still not absolutely zero. Caffeine is also in chocolate.  Not “white chocolate” which is really coco butter and sugar, but anything brown has it.
