Hey! I'm working on fixing my cousin's lightsaber and am in need of a part. The part number is NX11M25AS16, which i can only find on a chinese website. Does anyone know where i could look to find a replacement? Or even an alternative?

That looks like a pretty specific part with built-in factory-programmed memory so a replacement is likely to be useless.

You are out of luck. Those are microcontroller that need to be programmed. It is like buying a new SSD, installing it and wondering why Windows won't boot.

 

There is no alternative. Every part requires programming. If somebody comes here through Bing search results looking for Nyquest alternative: Nuvotron has similar MCUs.

there's no benefit to replacing it, it's a sound chip that needs to be programmed with whatever sounds it needs to play.

 

if that chip is your problem, you're SOL.
