My Folds homescreen.

 

I was a huge fan of the old Metro design. MS pretty much ruined that by going overboard by losing their simplistic design, and of course the death of WP/WM, I still got it going on my phone.

 

It's actually pretty damn fantastic, works well, has animated tiles just like WP, if you swipe right you get the old list of apps, and the set up is relatively easy, oh and it works with Foldable screen. Both screen share the same apps, but I can change the layout per screen.

The pink icons don't look that great on this one (They stand out instead of blending in) Also why not switch to gesture navigation instead of the old 3 button navigation

oh yeah you're right but it didn't bother me much and i kinda liked the contrast... was just trying out stuff : )

I dont do the icons on desktop thing on windows, and i make my own backgrounds... love Windows... the problem it has (mostly) is presentation... 

(but that can be mostly fixed)

my desktop is literally a windows 11 wannabe, but tbf i like centered icons better and the backgrounds on windows 11 are amazing. my phone uses the nothing launcher  beta, with a wallpaper of a concert I went to recently.
