Do you guys name your builds?

I named my PC "Big PP" because of the Nvidia Quadro I'm using. I was going to name it "Imperium," but that has negative connotations. *clears throat* *cough* 2016.

Windows requires it.  

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I name mine after ships in the Stargate universe. Only got two now, but they're named after SGC Ships (check my sig)

I don't normally name my builds, however, since computers do need a NetBIOS name on the local network, I do have to pick something.

The machine's get names, but unofficially they get named by the CPU. eg the hostname for the machine is a person/character name, and the individual drives are named after foods, but since I have at least 4 complete computers that can run at the same time, they are off hand "desktop 4th gen (2014), laptop 7th gen (2018), macmini 2006, macmini 2012"

 

Likewise phones and tablets have unique names, but they're just offhand referred to the iphone (2018) and ipad (2012), since I only have one of each.
