Strix B-450 F gaming mobo, using the other x16 slots for more GPU's will cut the lanes down to x8. Plus the Vega 56 with the RTX 2080 would murder my 750 watt PSU.

Im not sure why some of us are getting more wus than others

My theory is that certain tasks require certain types of hardware, so our hardware may be a major factor ;)

To be fair, a buddy of mine has about the same specs for CPU GPU and RAM altho he got 64GB cus overkill why not.
He also needs to wait for the WU's so im not sure if thats a thing.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

I also have been getting back to back WUs on 2 gpus and my CPU with max 5 tries

Desktop:RM650X, x570 Gaming Plus, Ryzen 5 3600, Cooler Master ML240L CPU cooler, Sapphire Pulse RX5700, 2x8 G.Skill Ripjaws V, NvME Intel 660p 1TB and Seagate 2 TB 7200RPM, Cooler Master MB530P case, ASUS VG278 27'' 1080p Monitor 165Hz

Actually they can and do set a GPU preference or affinity so large atom-count WUs get assigned to large GPUs and medium to mid-tier and small to lower-end systems.

Damn, my GPU running now, no problem. But my CPU has 16 tries, and im guessing thats gonna be a lot more still. (Ryzen 1700X @ 4Ghz 32GB 3200Mhz RAM)

I should have been more clear, I meant it's not like they target RT/tensor cores, or have WUs for nvidia/AMD as far as I know. 

 

I know they will target the size of the task to the level of compute power as that makes basic sense. But, it is not limited, if they have GPUs asking for WUs they will get assigned one even if it isn't optimal afaik.
