What do you do on your Gaming PC besides gaming?

Interesting... I don't ever watch porn on my PC...  If anything I use my phone ("you won an iPhone!") 

But really I rarely watch it anyways,  same for youtube,  too much made up stuff and lies that everyone believes "because it's on youtube" 

 

Usually I watch stuff on bilibili,  the UI is way modern ,  the quality is better and I enjoy the format overall a lot more - although I don't watch things like tutorials etc,  it's mostly a music channel for me,  have an account and everything also! 

 

What I like most is no ads   and the comments are usually funny instead of hateful.  

 

Other than that?  Edit videos sometimes,  mostly just trimming,  compression...  I'll need to try OBS some time again,  GFE keeps bugging out, it's very annoying, sometimes it works fine then it doesn't... 

 

Other than that? Nothing at all,  I use my phone for most things internet really,  also don't like kbm controls much,  generally windows feels very old-fashioned and clunky to me (by design obviously)

Actually, most of the time, I usually just browse the web on my PC. I would consider it a gaming PC but I mostly just look at YouTube and reddit on it. It's basically this meme but in real life.

I kinda just listed things in order of what the PC gets used for. I've wanted to do drawing and music stuff, but rarely ever get the time, space or hardware to do it. It's like yeah sure, let me just drop some money on some good equipment for that... oh wait, I don't have time now, or the idea passed.

 

The thing that bothers me with using the gaming PC for non-gaming things is that it collects a lot of cluttercruft. Like I have Visual Studio, Unreal, Unity, Godot and Xenko and a half dozen things I compiled with Visual Studio and just rarely get past compiling things before giving up because example projects in Unity or Xenko don't work, or the documentation is just too weak for a lot of C++ engines to really bother with. Sometimes I'm like "screw it, just let me buy something that's working out of the box" and even then... rarely the case.

 

A lot of it's a means to an end though. To make your own game, you need your own art and music assets, thus drawing and music are things that I want to do myself. So the PC gets used for it (or the Mac's, of which I have two, but those are absolutely not used for games. One was purchased expressly for building iOS/MacOS software) 

 

If I just cared about consuming and not producing content, I'd probably have jettisoned my software development hard drive already.

I am not much of a gamer I watch a lot of XXX videos I just got 43" LG UM7300 as my monitor in the near future I plan to get a 1060 video card I currently have a HD 7700.

On my other computer I am just using it to run my internet radio station Phat Beats Radio
