It's supposed to be 80%?

Uh-oh... I have been using 70%

Yea I've used 50% because anything higher isn't sold here anymore. It doesn't make a difference, just a misconception. Like anti-static straps and connecting to ground with your outlet, the method of putting thermal paste on etc.

My Rig :  Case: Cooler Master HAF X ,Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H,PSU: Seasonic SS-750KM3,Processor: Core I7 4770k (overclocked 4.7ghz),Cooler: Corsair H100i, GPU: EVGA GTX 780 with acx cooler, RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb DDR3 1600 (overclocked to 2000mhz), HDDS  Samsung 840 EVO 250 gb SSD , Western digital  2tb 7200 rpm 64mb cache, Old 1tb laptop drive I had , 320gb for os backup daily, 80gb external for weekly backups,Drives 2x Lg Blu Ray burner WH16MS40,MISC: Tp-Link dual band wireless card, Logitech g510s, Razer Deathadder 2013, Acer G236HLBbd 23" monitor, Old tv I had 23" for secondary monitor, old 32" samsung tv third monitor

  • If it doesn't fit don't force it in there.
  • Don't play Frisbee with you graphics cards and stuff.
  • You plug the plug into the socket that fits the plug.
  • Do your research, a 4GB 640 does not shit down a GTX 590's throat because it has MOAR RAM.
  • Google is your friend.

Or in Apple's case...

For your case this tends to work:

If you've broke it, and you used duct tape and it's still broke you didn't use enough duct tape.

Remember to plug it in the right hole

if it doesn't fit then jerk it around a bit and it should slot into place

don't spray your paste too much

the male connectors fit in the female holes

Make sure that you plug everything into the rear end

she's not always a big fan of everything so make sure that your blowers fit the holes she has.

Make sure you hold onto these tips. ;)

I didn't say they were completely useless. But there are people who believe you connect your power supply to earth ground, then the strap to that. And that's a no no, you need to be on the same electrical plain as your components which isn't earth ground. If you wear shoes on carpet and touch the case regularly then you should be fine, unless you're actually have components are carpet then ehhhhh. I work on concrete floors, wood tables and there's low humidity here unless it's summer so static is hardly a problem. I have man handled ram modules years before I knew about static discharge, they all still work fine.

Buy a decent power supply that won't burn your PC and electrocute and kill yourself.

That's right, people care too much about Little details, but usually forget Reading the manual or following the color code for pluging things.

Wear a anti-static wristband.

Read the manual

Don't force it in, if it doesn't fit, find another way to put it in. (Broke some ram yesterday because of this.)

If you don't have any 80%+ alch lying around, use whiskey or cola to remove or clean your heat sink or processor

How does cola work, it should leave so much sugar behind, would be able to stick 2kg cooler on it.
