LTT Official Folding Month 2018!!!

Go to solution Solved by palespartan,

I figured I would take advantage of the fact this post hasn't been locked yet to spread the word about this years folding month.

Folding month 2019!!

See the thread for detail and don't forget to spread the word!!!

@leadeater you can now lock this one.

-Thanks

At this point I'm happy to be in the top 15 for now, but I fear by the time i can get IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE up and running I will be out of the top 20 for this month!

Meanwhile the fact that I'm on the top 20 producers (based on 24hr average) on the somewhat-unrelated Team Summary with the lowest overall points is neat, but this too shall pass

*Edit* I should just abbreviate it to ITNOS

Let see how long I can stay in the events top 100. Quite surprised of my computers performance with i5-3570K and Msi rx480 gaming X. It does around 370k PPD in a day.

Hey Guys!

I just started folding. Is it possible to use the GPU with any other load than 100%? Because my GTX 970 doesn´t start folding in IDLE mode, although my PC is doing nothing.

Thanks for your tips in advance.

From the looks of the rest of the leaderboards I'll probably end this month in 13th on this list, going by the daily percentage. Considering what everyone else has for rigs in the top 10 though I'll be happy with that ?

We have been seeing am upward trend of the average production... so people really are slowly increasing what they are folding with or perfecting overclocks....

Its still early days yet...

Playing with overclocking my 1080ti, turned it back down to a known stable overclock.

Haven't had any trouble out of my other systems though. A mobile 1070, 2x 1050ti's, and a 1030 for the fun of it.

Surprisingly I get ~550000 ppd on my mobile 1070.

From the looks of the rest of the leaderboards I'll probably end this month in 13th on this list, going by the daily percentage. Considering what everyone else has for rigs in the top 10 though I'll be happy with that ?

You probably have something really close to me (1080 and 1080 Ti), cause your PPD is basically the same

Playing with overclocking my 1080ti, turned it back down to a known stable overclock.

Haven't had any trouble out of my other systems though. A mobile 1070, 2x 1050ti's, and a 1030 for the fun of it.

the mobile 1070 actually has more cuda cores than the desktop one so if you can keep it cool and keep the clocks up it will be faster.

Just trying to not kill my cards lol, not letting any of them go above 70C. I know they can handle more easily but I'm just playing it safe
