I'm asking for my family to just leave me alone and stop trying to get me to go to stupid xmas and new year parties, that they know I'm just gonna be standing in a corner playing on my phone not speaking to anybody for the entire freaking evening until I just "disappear"(leave) without anyone noticing that I'm gone.

 

Who still wishes for gifts when they reach adulthood, if I want something I just buy it myself. A gift shouldn't be something you "demand", there's no point to a gift you've asked and already know what it is.

I'm asking for nothing.  The only people that matter in my life are my children.  So for them I'm getting them gifts.  I personally don't celebrate christmas but my wife does.  I've actually never celebrated any holidays even as a kid.  Its not part of my family tradition.  Plus with my line of work I'll be working anyways.

Across the board just money so that they get the right gift without trying, but I asked my aunt+uncle for an Xbone controller since mine is shot, my mom for a 960 4GB off eBay since my 7950 is steadily getting worse, and I'm seeing if my dad will get a 1TB 2.5" Barracuda since I'm out of space, tho who knows since he has something in mind involving 4 wheels.

I kind of got a gift out of necessity; I'm invited to a black-tie wedding and don't own a suit so my folks offered to cover it for me as a Christmas gift. Makes me feel very "James Bond", albeit, noticeably less suave. 

 

Beyond that, all I really want is one of those monster Toblerone bars...

I'm super picky, so if I want something, either a) buy what you think it might be and don't be offended if I return it for what I actually want, or b) go shopping with me and let me buy it. However, as 2017 comes to a close, I'd be plenty content with happiness as a gift this season, but you can't buy that so slim chances.

Already got my materialistic stuff, and while there's stuff I sure want, I probably won't be buying anything (other than Steam games ayyy) for a long, long time...

So essentially I'm not asking for anything under the tree because I already got everything.

 

Although I'm asking not to be fired because a lot of people have been getting laid off where I work, and the last thing I need before Christmas is unemployment  

 

Oh and I guess good health is important too. Not dying would be pretty awesome.

This is the first year I've actually been working for the entirety of so it's not like I can't buy anything I want right away. I went ahead and asked for an Apple Watch from my parents though, but I plan on spending roughly the same for them at least
