Thats been the plan from the start? Linus Media Group is test flying it so to speak, and the plan on inviting other techtubers to release earlier and exclusive content once they have a fully functional website running.

Currently majoring in computer networking. That's about it yeah. Not much goes on in my life.

We don't know. Linus asked this question back when FP was new and shiny. They got long list of suggestions. But apart from BitWit, there's no announcements on who will be joining. They might do teaser closer to platform launch.

You have very odd sense of how this world works. If they wouldn't like people who can't pay extra, they would have 1 video per week on YT and all other content on FP. Pretty much like how cable companies and streaming platforms have worked for longer time. There are exclusive stuff you can't get unless you pay. You should be thankful that they are actually decent folks who understand not everyone can pay. You pay for supporting and some extra content, not for watching whole channel.

 

As for nerd sports, it was released as early access for CSF back when FP launched. All those videos are on YT already.

i know how it works im just hoping that do it the right way. too many people would stop YT or stop making good content on it just to focus on FP, we know since there is linus and luke they are having luke do FP so linus can work on YT too, but what untill FP price goes up and they focus on it more, i feel like then they might just use youtube to advertise for float plane. as in promoting it every video and saying oh want to see how do to this watch only on FP untill its only FP

Yeah, that would be issue. Tested.com kinda does it with some build videos. Which was originally reason why I got that subscription. Why I'm still paying after 2 years... Anyway, price going initially up is more about website costs than anything else. But if they would decide to raise to over $5, that would be backbreaker for me.

Think I'll at least wait until a discounted price point is put up like LTT's FPC is. I tested the water with LTT first at 2.99 for a single month but then I pulled the trigger on a 1 year sub which saved a few bucks. But I guess a reason for such a thing not existing is they don't know if Kyle will stick around long enough? Plus AFIK Kyle isn't forced to do 3, 6 or 12 month subs with discounts for them. So maybe they'll just never exist.

By the time more a couple payments come out we are hoping to have Kyle moved over to a new payment system.
