Noctua has added some new IndustrialPPC fans to their line up. The fans runs at 24v and is compliant for automotive use. These fans, uses their

There are 4 skus to select from,

Price is around $30Euros/$35USD/$45CAD, and they comes with a 6 year warranty

dam nocuta now make a 400- 700mm version of that fan and it could be actually used in cars

trucks, marine, and materials handling equipment are usually 24-48v

Yeesh what kind of death machine fans do you use? 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Ahh, these are actually very timely with the release of AMD's TR :P

You can bark like a dog, but that won't make you a dog.

You can act like someone you're not, but that won't change who you are.

 

Finished Crysis without a discrete GPU,15 FPS average, and a lot of heart

 

How I plan my builds -

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

MaximumPC did a test a while back for their htpc cabinet cooling. The optimal rpm between cooling and silence was around 600 or 700rpm. Can't remember the exact number. They said at 100rpm lower, it does not cool the cabinet, and at 100rpm higher introduces fan noise.

This test was done like 10+ years ago, so things might have change.

 

For them buses, yeah I seen them too.
