Only time it doesn't for me is when in fullscreen window.

Although it seems to fill that 1080p video rather well on a 1440p display.

Why aren't every application dark theme friendly yet? we stay more and more facing the screen and nobody cares for our poor eyes... thank god this is slowly changing now, can't wait for a dark theme on Windows Explorer, that will be the cherry on top of the cake.

Really? Mine does. I'm not using the dark mode, but this is the biggest improvement for me. Are you on the new interface?

I've hated how bright white Youtube is for years now. Lighting up my bedroom at 1:00AM giving me a migraine. Thank you for this post. Finally I have what I always wanted. It'll pair nicely with this dark theme forum on my second monitor.

I don't like dark themes, white is my favourite colour and I'm almost always in a well lit room. Plus my glasses have a coating that reflects some blue light. 
I just think light sites are much cleaner and more open feeling, so I generally don't bother with dark themes. The only time I'd want it is on my phone, because darker themes look awesome on an OLED device.

Too bad this update broke all my youtube extensions....

I'm hoping someone will make an extension or userscript for this new update that lets me change the Youtube Logo's URL to the Subbox instead of the awful mainpage, now that both Youtube+ and Youtube Center seems to both be dead as of this update. I also need a download button to download long(3hours+) shows since Youtube suck ass in the "remember where I left off" department, as in it doesn't work 99.99% of the time.

I wish everything had a night theme... I wouldn't need to use f.lux during the day time.

Is anyone else getting this problem? It just does not load correctly. Removing cookies you can revert the the old version though.

Nope, i've tryed restarting firefox but not the whole pc but really that should not effect it.

Also what is  difference between cltr + f5 and f5 (on firefox or chome eta)?

it clears the cache for that page to re download style sheets and what not.

Exactly... I rarely watch YouTube on my desktop. I'm either watching twitch where I can interact with said streamer or gaming or watching movies. I always watch it at night or in the morning... Ya know.. WHEN DARK THEME MATTERS MOST
