@Magix I can't really see the issues that you are describing on your in-game screenshots, it looks like standard Far Cry 5 to me. I would love to help more, but that might be why it's hard to convince other people, assuming that there is actually something abnormal going on with your system.

So like i said on that post, on my old pc changing hdmi cable to vga made the issue way less aparent, did that happen for any of you guys too ??  now on my new pc this doesn't work anymore =/

No, no there is, believe me! It's gotten worse yet since clearing CMOS again and reseating every component, now the jaggies are less apparent because there's been a further loss of definition, now all the colors are glowing yet sooooo washed out, things aren't as jaggy but smudgy with a crayon-like quality, and it DEFINITELY carried over to my downstairs tv, it's THE SAME as on PC. People's skin looks orange for example, so much detail and depth ia gone, it' AWFUL. Crayon graphics.

 

Now when I browse those screenshots they look completely different, so who knows how your system presents them, also if you use Win 10 photoviewer it additionally blurs the pics. You can at least see the low shadow draw distance on one of the pics.

Yup, and gf's laptop, too. It's gotta be electrical somehow. Picture quality gets noticably modulated on all household electronics when I fiddle with the components in the PC. It's so weird but absolutely true. Not a placebo or something.s

Yes, using VGA would blur the image somehow. I am since yesterday having a similar effect, but I'm still on DVI-D. It's less pixelated/jaggy now but almost like if the display is in lower res. Upping the res does nothing to change this effect. Colors are too luminous but washed out, like ovrsaturated, definition and coloring have a crayonlike quality to them, reflections aren't defined, stuff like creases on clothing aren't defined, peoples'skin is too orange or pink yet it all seems washed out and with a slight chlorine tint, darks are too dark and whites too white. No monitor or Radeon color setting helps, it's like two different algorithms/filters. It's really impossible to get across until you see it in person.

Also, it's like that on all my display electronics now. Any modulation in graphics quality after fiddling with components gets carried over to TV and laptop per electric grid it would seem.

Yes, graphics on all my devices are now in lower resolution, although it says native everywhere, pictures have jaggies and are less detailed, I zoom in a little and already it's low in detail, and the audio is ruined on all devices, the sound quality is terrible, hollow and a bit scratchy on all devices. All the pics and vids on our phones are in lower res after we charged them, HD looks smudgy, same color issues on all devices, videos in HD look 480p at best, with horribly bad contrasts and colors. All my 2K pics are now much lower res, au. It also runs extremely hot while charging now. I must have fried my devices by so much component exchanging and unplugging and replugging. All is ruined all across the house, tv, laptop, smartphones, PC.

 

Interesting that the visual and audio problems are identical on all devices. The same color and definition issue, same audio quality loss.

All devices are tinted yellow and pink, went into some kind of lower res mode upscaling that low res, colors have oversaturated hues, audio is hollow and thinner. THE SAME on PC, laptop, tv and two smartphones. Looks and sounds exactly the same on all devices. The phones have jaggies now, text and ui icons suffer the least because they are densly pixel-packed but still noticable, but videos, pics, games all look awful and low res and blurred on all devices . PC now has even jaggier graphics on addtion to the tint and weird oversaturated hues.

 

Did I fry the capacitors of everything by messing with my PC??? Phones got it only after charging. I hope my electric circuits aren't permanently damaged...

I remember way back on 2012 where i had a issue with games where the moment i started playing the game after the menu my pc would freeze and then reboot and that was in all games, i spent almost a year try all kinds of things to resolve it, without playing... in the end inserting a simple comand on cmd ended all my troubles, i hope something like that finally solves this, instead of me having to move out of my house  like some of you said xD

I just read the whole topic, so that thing on the Witcher 2 is called shadow dithering huh and all the people who played the game had to live with that ok... now i wonder if the AA not working  is the same... anyway i remember the flickering AA thing way back on 2011 playing bf3 on my old 9600 gt but that was only on things at the distance, the weapons texture and characters looked really great and that was on medium/low, the white dot/lines and and texture poping up didn't happen to me until now, now the AA issue is there in pubg even on ultra but it's way less annoying than Witcher 2 and thats even with the AA off,  i don't now if it's because it's a online game where that kind of thing shoudn't bother you much whatever. Now what i'm gonna do is download Dark Souls 2 a game where i played and platineted exactly a year ago on my old pc and i remember perfectly the game looked awesome without any of this AA sh*t i even have some old screenshots, and see if it looks the same on this pc.

 hello! I am French sorry for my english! 

I have the same worries for a few days. Some day ago I play on GTA 5 no problem setting the game was super clean. I uninstall because I needed space.

I updated the drivers I had two late. 

today I reinstall the games and now the textures in the background are very ugly. anti aliasing does not work. 

the textures charge only close to the character is as if we were in front 2k and 800 * 600 deep .. I wanted to play the divison is now same problem on all games ..

I tried to format but always the same and already tried to force the msaa 4 and anistropic 16 in the app nvidia .. I have a 1080 ti ASUS oc and an i7 8700k I hope we'll have a solution ..

Ok guys I do not belive my eyes right now but I've found the fix,you know what is the problem it is geforce expirience,just go in there and run game from there let it optimize the game you will see problem is gone it really worked for me,hope it helps you all.

I made METRO 2033 and SKYRIM look flawless !!!

Just tested Vampyr on ultra with geforce and without,without it problem is very noticable,played it in geforce no single shimmer,jaggie or flickering nothing everything looks perfect !!

Guys I really hope this works for all of you cause it saved my life

I am now certain that problem is due to the some options in nvidia control panel conflicting one another,I am 100% sure that is a problem.

Hope this helped you and that all of you will solve this problem to.

Haven't been on this thread for a while, but is switching to Ryzen still a confirmed fix?

 

Also, @Dzenan 22, letting GFE optimize my games did nothing for them.

Ryzen fixes SOME but not all problems. It helps with distance rendering anomalies and shadows and edges in games

Which are the majority, right? But why though? This happens on both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, so it can't be a control panel issue, unless both make the same error when in contact with Intel CPUs and some trigger that nobody knows yet.

 

I'd rather not sacrifice my frames for visual quality, but if I have to...

Damn man, at least in Dark souls 2 the AA is way better now looks kinda like when i used vga cable on my old pc, The Witcher 2 looks  a little better too, i gotta wonder if even with people who don't have the same problem as us TW2 will be ''clean'', Witcher 3 looks a lot better too it's playable now, forcing the resolution to 4k the game looks like what it's suposed to be -_- but yeah... what i can say for sure is that  at least for me Dark games like dark souls 3 will be playable for me now, thx man

Also, @Dzenan 22, letting GFE optimize my games did nothing for them. 

Listen try it this way,go in geforce expirience and once you choose the game go to little wrench icon on right side in the game you chose and move slider all the way for best quality it will still optimize game,it wont lag but problem will be gone,beacuse just letting it optimize games on deafult it will set options on medium,so you have to manualy adjust it to best quality,hope this helps.Sorry for my English I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I just tried no change the game turns as a resolution below. the alialising is always horrible blurry and pixelated and the textures loads when we approach .. no change for me even Windows turns as a resolution below ..  Game look better because nvidia put 200% scale ..

I never had anything to touch on this program for everything to work. the program has all the original parameters. there I tried to do with GeForce optimizes and it does not change the problem that we have on this forum ^^

Pretty sure that was established, but supposedly switching to a Ryzen CPU fixes some of the issues.

I have this problem since a windows 10 update in october.

 

First tried the small things. Nvidia Updates, Rollback, different graphic options in games. Got from W10 to W8.1, which made the fonts in browser better but not helped with games.

 

Then I bought a new GPU and an new 144hz screen. Again, helped with blurry browser and fonts. That is now comepletely gone. But still games give me headache after playing 30 Minutes.


You have discussed that problem sine many threads. So let me ask you to get an overview.

 

What about this power source or voltage thing? I have a own house, moving is no option for me. But just to try, connect my PC on another place, is it even worth the try or have you already refuted this?

What about a COMPLETELY new system? To test this I could build a simple Office System and see if it works. But ppl said they tried it already?
 

Switching von nvidia to amd?

I tried to connect an old analog monitor. Got real screen flickering. Do new GPUs not support VGA anymore?
