Do You Have a Separate System Build for Specific Task Other than Your Main Rig?

First of all post about your main rig, what's your main purpose of it down below, Define a specific task you'd use that  main rig for

This does not include laptops, meaning as a seperate build for specific purpose like Professional Work alone, General Browsing (Low end build) , HTPC (mid end build),

Details separate people.

No.

And you should make a poll out of this

welp, you said no laptops, but my laptop is a I3, that when Im at home its a dedicated minecraft server.

Soon swapping my old tablet for a beat up I5 laptop, that will replace it as a 24/7 server. maybe could run mutiple.

edit: whoops! forgot 2 others. My dad has this turtle beach thing thats for converting old anolog movies into digital. It only worked with windows xp so built him a rig of old parts for that. thats sitting in my closet still. built like 4 years ago, hasnt been touched lol.

AND! I built a nas for fun. I think its been running for the last 2 weeks even though I had to burrow its ethernet cord. whoops

I wish I could have a gaming rig and a workstation, but money doesn't allow me. It would be cool to have a gaming rig attached to the Obutto R3Volution, and then have a workstation for school work and what-not.

I don't game so my main rig is more of a browsing/photoshop machine with 3 screen (the gtx 650 assure that if I want to play some indie game with friend for a event I can) my secondary rig is more of a benchmark/testing piece rig I'm also testing thing on it (like toothpaste thermal compound, no screw build(aka duct tape ftw) and massive data moving) I count my laptop as a half rig since it's more of an extention to my main rig. I'm also thinking of building a nas to store that huge movie collection

To not include laptops makes no sense to me. I would have three alternate PCs if laptops were included, one of which has a core i7.

Functions:

0- Home pc, gaming, youtube

1- Living room pc, gaming, media, emulators

2- Personal laptop

3- Work PC (Laptop)

Primary rig: The one on my profile. Its used for audio/video/photo work and gaming. I also run VM's on it to test software(just in case I mess something up).

Secondary rig #1: The shitbox(soon to be The Love Box). Its used for web browsing and listening to music. I also do my homework on this rig. Right now it has 8Gb of DDR2 RAM and a Athlon II X4 clocked at 3.2Ghz, all packed into a shitty eMachines case. When I upgrade this machine, it will have a FX 6100 and a better custom case.

Secondary rig #2: Hewlett Crappard. Stock motherboard(Pegatron m2n78-ln), Sempron 140, 8Gb of DDR2 “mixed RAM”, and best of all: no SSD or HDD. It uses a RAM Drive for its storage(yes, you heard that right). I was able to get my hands on a few Acard ANS-9010's but only one of them has the battery. Because of the poor performance of this rig and its terrible practicality(the RAM Drive only stays charged for about 4 hours), I mostly use this rig for testing out Linux Distros, because some of them don't play well with Virtual box(or when I need to do things I cant do on a VM).

Secondary rig #3: Home Server. It holds files from backups and is the host for streaming music/video. It uses an underclocked Athlon and 4Gb of RAM. Nothing too special, other than the dual port Ethernet NIC.

Secondary rig #4: Minecraft Server. I'm a huge Minecraft player, so I needed a dedicated machine just for hosting Minecraft. It uses a Core 2 Quad Q9550 and 4Gb of RAM. I would use the Athlon for this(since it performs better), but I have an ATX motherbord and I plan on turning this into a folding rig too.

Secondary rig #5: Project Intel. I bought a Pentium G3258 for testing so I built a cheap machine around that idea. I'm mostly just holding on to it to see how well it holds up with time, but I plan on getting rid of it soon because the Pentium is already starting to show its age(if only this chip had HT). I occasionally browse the web on it, so it has a purpose
