Companies, Brand Loyalty, and Warranty

I'm absolutely loyal to Apple. I buy everything from them, from the iPhone 5s to the iPhone 5c ...... who I'm I kidding?

Generally have a strong trust in most Corsair products and I normally go for Nvidia GPUs and Intel CPUs (Nothing against AMD I swear lol).
My motherboards are normally by ASUS.

I'm not going to lie, I've always leaned towards the green team.  I don't know if I just fall for the hype machine or that I've only owned Nvidia cards but it's my standard by which I judge AMD.  Mostly everything else I like my corsair peripherals.  Components are a little different.  I like my MSI card mostly because I can clock the crap out of it and it won't complain a bit.

I generally buy whatever is available + reasonable. My setup is a mix match of many different brands.

At one point in time though, I had a Sidewinder X5 mouse, a Sidewinder X4 keyboard and the 360 controller and only used Windows so I'm pretty much a Microsoft fan. Only thing changed is that I am using a Steelseries Ikari now.

However I do shop from like only 2 shops even though there are like dozens of shops to choose from. The 2 shops tend to give nice discounts. I guess its bought loyalty but wtv.

well my asus laptop won me over to asus products, 3 yrs now with out any real issues and it is just built so solid, I like the republic of gamers mouse that came with it a lot too. I have always liked logitech, I think they are a great balance of price to performance with their products, and hp for regular old printers, I have always had good luck with them. I seem to have better luck with Seagate hard drives vs wd, only 2 drives i have had completely die on me in my life were wd. I am sure I will have more opinions as i build my first complete system over the next few weeks.

I liked that MSI has a great overclocking policy. Plus the Twin Frzr  7850 was cheaper. I would probably like using their GPUs again, but I basically buy the things with the best deal for what I want. My mobo was a refurb for instance.

EDIT: I also really like my Hyper 212, so Cooler Master for low end coolers; I like CM in general really, although the aesthetics aren't always my favorite, I like what they do.

LOL what?!? You are aware that liquid water does not exist at 400F, at least not at any pressure that you or I could survive in.

Granted, I do not know what altitude or pressure you were experiencing that day, I can 100% guarantee you that you did not put a Noctua fan in water at 400 degrees F. It may have survived a dunk in boiling water but 400F it was not.

Boiling water can't go over 212F unless you have access to some special equipment that allows you to get water to 400F

It wasn't pure water. It had about 6-8 packs of Rit Dye mixed into it along with some Vinegar.

All I know is that the oven was set to 515F for 10 minutes, then I threw the fans it and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then I turned it down. And it survived.

Always EVGA first for GPU. Always. Awesome coolers, and A-MA-ZING customer support. (I've had to contact them, always an English-as-first-language person [based on the fact that I call from the US], and knowledgeable.)

For MoBo-  I lean towards Asus, they seem to have the high end pretty locked down, so why not?

For Peripherals - It's half function, half looks for me. I tend to look at Razer first, and often end up buying Logitech. (I have Logitech Keyboard/Mouse, and Razer headset.)

Corsair - RAM, Cases, Coolers

Cooler Master - Cases, Coolers

HDD - WD

SSD - Samsung if I can get away with it. (pricing)

Case: Lian Li PC011-D - CPU: 3900x - GPU: 2080ti Reference - Mobo: Gigabyte - Ram: Corsair 4x16gb 3200MHz - SSD: 2TB Samsung Evo NVME

Corsair, Corsair, Corsair, Corsair, Corsair, Corsair, Corsair and umm, corsair.  OHHH yes, ill support sapphire when I next get a GPU as they have helped me quite a bit

Intel CPU's because I paid $160 for it at a Micro Center and I play games that heavily use single threads.  AMD CPU's because their prices for budget gamers perform better than Intel's at the same price.

NVIDIA GPU's at the moment because their features like Shadowplay and PhysX are great.  Also amazing for the price.  I love AMD, but their prices inflated due to kicking ass at Bitcoin mining... :(

Memory? I go Corsair Vengeance and have recommended them ever since. I have never tried other brands before.

Solid State Drive? Crucial or Samsung. Hard Disk Drive? Western Digital.

Case? Bitfenix Prodigy or Fractal Design, even though I currently use Cooler Master...

Motherboard? ASRock or Asus.

Power Supply? Corsair, and EVGA. oh and also Seasonic. my friend's OCZ came dead on arrival... that's a big no-no...

Operating System? Obviously Microsoft if I'm a huge gamer... and future SteamOS.

Optical DVD Drive? Asus. and HP. my LG is faulty...

My preferences... brand loyalty for the win! and maybe some fanboyism...

The only brand loyalty I have is in the Kindle line of products. They are still the best eink readers on the market and have been for a long time now. Even with the lack of competition they continue to improve their already great products.

Loyalty like respect needs to be earned. I'll consider brand loyalty when companies discover consumer loyalty.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

What, brand loyalty!

I will be brand loyal when a company is customer loyal  .

I mean if they give me something to stay sure but no company gives you jack squat so staying for brand name sake and not looking over the fence is basically a "Handicap" move in tech. Besides tech moves fast so staying with one brand is basically pigeon holing you into a well hole, you have to look for the best not the same brand.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

I really like Corsair products, but I am open to any reputable company as long as it is a good deal.

Heh, I probably picked a crappy topic title. I meant something along the lines of 'brand preference'. I do agree with you about the concept of 'loyalty'.
