Have you tried more voltage ? Mine would take 1.25v at 4.2 prime95 stable.

Maybe 1.25 for 4.4 ,4.2 might be your wall before needing a decent voltage jump.also I noticed keep your uncore/ring/cache speed lower than your core speed .some say keep 39 for the multi on your uncore

In the efforts of keeping temps (and noise) down, no. But when I (hopefully) get my Hyper 212 EVO for Christmas, the voltage goes to 1.25, and I see how far I can push this thing and have it be stable in OCCT.

How good is the wi-fi card ?, would love to know.

I'm not sure itf it was an issue with my install of Windows 8, or if it was Skype (since it always happened with Skype open on that OS), but sometimes my down and up speeds would drop like a rock. Right now though I have it running Windows 7 (overclocking, temporary install on my WD Blue hard drive since Windows 8.1 shot itself in the dick), and with Skype open it works flawlessly. I did notice a slight drop in down speeds (40 down to 36), but that could be network related, as we are having issues with our network. Bluetooth is very solid and quite strong (I am able to go into my dad's room next door and listen to music through a wall), and the antenna has a nice magnetic base.

 

TL;DR: It's a nice little guy, but Skype, Windows 8, and it have some issues to work out. 7 works great. Bluetooth = love/life.

 

On a more build oriented note, I'm gonna try to make my dad take me to Staples to look at some desks later tonight or some time tomorrow.

That's a shame about the speeds, I was thinking of getting it whenever I decided to do a new build partly because it isn't green like the rest of the wi-fi cards

Running it with Windows 7, and it is still working perfectly fine. My speeds are slightly lower than before, but that could be something with my network, or one of the other people in my house (we have been having a lot of issues lately with our network, and my sister is addicted to YouTube).

 

Also, we might be getting a workbench from Harbor Freight. I'm getting so pissed right now, I don't even care. It works.

I have decided to just bring Athena to my grandma's. Then I'll be able to take pictures of it, and take pics of it when it's in the surprise case with the cooler (hopefully I get those). My dad can not be arsed to charge his old phone to take pictures of it. -_-
