Yeah just saw the server stats again. My machines can't pick up a work unit for the past 8 hours. I think the FAH team is really struggling to keep the servers up.

I suppose what they come and go? One of my machines picked up a unit half and hour ago or something like that.

Sounds like the MOVs in the surge supressor failed closed circuit.  Hopefully nothing else got cooked!

I'm full up right now, amazingly.

R5 3600, 5700 XT, AX370 K7...  and that's plenty for me.  If you ignore the masses of other parts I occasionally put together and laugh about.

Yeah I have some serious issues with the electicals in this house, not meant to pull more than 1Kw if possible....

 

I pull 1.3 with my folding alone

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

So you have wall heating as well then instead of floor heating with those wires getting so much power pulled through them?  Kinda worried about that now that I think about it.

It is the local authority that needs to do it fixing not me! They've been saying they will do it since we moved in.

If the MOVs in the surge strip did fail, they'd be quite likely to blow a fuse, trip a circuit breaker, or trip an RCD.

Yeah it killed the RCD,

 

Got it booted, just needed to try to boot it, flip the PSU off and back on... weird...

 

On a side note, FOLDATRON is on the bathroom ring technically so didnt go down... phew

I actually just watched a system complete both slots and go straight into new ones.  That was sexy.

Hey at least working on an essay for university means no temptation to game and just let it fold. But then I have to check temps still...and check if I'm getting WUs...and check this thread...and check EOC...oops I have 3.5 hours left for this essay
