Don't UK-ers have more brand-name slang than the US?  Hoover and Biro for example?  We just call them Pens and Vacuums. Hmm, have to think about this.

As a former military-guy I prefer the 24hr clock, because there's plenty of places where 3AM and 3PM don't differ that much (or at all) in certain conditions

Kinda, not really though. Hoover is the only one I have heard in wide use these days. We find it interesting that muricans use brand names for everything like medication for instance

We definitely have those too though.  Kleenex, scotch tape, etc.  I wouldn't put that on either side of the pond.

I've had 3 different systems with Nvidia and AMD GPUs and I always installed top slot driver first, and then bottom one. Never had any problems folding/gaming/mining or w/e else.
