You can measure your system power usage with those "kill-a-watt" watt metres. Won't account for efficiency, but will be close enough to give you an idea of total system power consumption.
Some software monitoring such as HWinfo64 and I think Aida64 shows power consumption for just the GPU, though software power consumption can be a bit hit or miss at times.

 

Those should be enough to give you a sort of ball park generalised idea of power consumption.

So 90-95% of the total TDP (which is 175W so 157.5W) or doesnt it work that way ?  (is what i assume

I guess so. I don't use AIDA64 for it. HWInfo64 shows both GPU Power in Watts and GPU TDP %, though they appear the same.

Yeah it adds up. Only odd that my memory is running at 7300mhz when the OC is +500Mhz and it was runnig 7500mhz in the past.

Could some of the memory be 'broken'? as The OC in AFterburner is still +500

Yes, your Watts will be the percentage multiplied by the Max Watts in the vBIOS.

Im now making in about ten days what I made per month historically while consuming only about 15% more power. And all of these are of course undercocked/undervolted numbers. Looking to generate close to 3m PPD when the 1080ti is added and the cards are fully unleashed!

Got down to 5C overnight here in Eastern Ontario. I’ve had the Windows open in the basement last couple of weeks but the rigs are heating the basement nicely nonetheless.

 

@AlexTheGreatish your new space at LTT looks a little poorly insulated. I think you need to convince the Boss to let you build a space heater for it  say some Titans left lying around from the 6 editors build ...

20+ GTX 2080 Ti's heating a 1000L water tank, use the water for central heating/water radiators. Whole building water heating...... or is that naming scheme taboo lol?

The team is a virtual Crypto Coin that does not generate any currency but is jut for people interested in learning about Crypto Coins. It appears to have forked off of or as a result of some South American Coins that had shady histories associated with them.

Built a pc today for a friend with a 5700 sapphire pulse. When we start F@H CPU works but the GPU isn’t getting any work assignments. 

 

Any idea why this is?

IIRC the 5700/5700XT aren't working with F@H yet.

From what I've heard Navi drivers for OpenCL aren't working properly.
End result is that Navi cards can't be used for folding

Oh no, told my buddy about it like last week and he said oh cool I’ll join, but wasn’t the reason for the build. 

 

Its his first pc and I offered to build it for him. Mainly for gaming/study

Had that same issue today with a work unit.  Only the second one I've encountered so far, but every once in a while it seems to find a work unit that it just doesn't like, but rather than skipping it after X number of failed attempts, it just keeps on trying and failing.

 

Here's the last little bit of the log from the previous failed work unit.  The "clean exit" line at the bottom is from when I manually stopped the service, not from that work unit succeeding.

 

 

It's not the end of the world, the solution seems to be to just stop the service, delete the /var/lib/fahclient/work folder and then restart the service so it's forced to start fresh, but it's still kinda strange that FAH isn't catching these itself.  I've written a script to make "fixing" the issue a little faster; I may poke around and see if there's some way I can automate a detection of a failure like this that launches my cleanup script automatically instead of relying on me to check in on it every now and then and do it manually.
