    lolwat? AMD could've put a 290X inside the consoles for all they care but Microsoft and Sony went for the cheap. How is it AMD's fault?

    No, it's not. It's Bethesda. I know consoles use AMD, but it's Bethesda's responsibility to make it run on all platforms they offer it on. They always get a pass on this, especially on /r/pcmr
    it's bullshit, Bethesda has traditionally been one of the WORST as far as stability goes .
    Plus, horse armour. 
     
    In the very least, I hear it's pretty stable on PC

    On Linux everything works out of the box, on Windows I have to go to the makers website to download the drivers... Guess which one I prefer?

    None of that changes the fact that it will take the FX 6300 and perform as it should with room for overclocking. It's a budget build, some people are on a budget. He asked for a $50 motherboard, all of you are giving him $80+ motherboards for absolutely no reason... you're trying to get him to spend $30 to $40 more so he can buy a motherboard that will do absolutely the same, which is taking in that FX 6300 and 270 and letting him game.

    Y'know, spyware and spying implies that it's covert, like you don't know that it's happening. Windows 10 asks you "Hey, you want to share this data with Microsoft?" and lets you disable it during the initial setup, and outlines what they do with the data they collect very clearly in their privacy policy. That's not spyware or spying, because it's not covert at all. It's in plain sight.

    Um, I hate to rain on your parade, but these aren't AMD chips. Apple already has A9 CPUs and is developing A10 ones. There is no connection to AMD whatsoever, and the name is purely coincidental. I feel like this is going to cause a lot of confusion...

    There is a 1080p version for the same price if you don't want to deal with lowering resolution in games (which you may or may not need to do.)
     
    The xps 13 is also an option at the same price as the macbook pro.
