Good Headphones $40 or less

AresKrieger

Just wondering if anyone knows of some headphones that are under $40 US that could be considered decent, I don't expect godly headphones for under 40 bucks but good enough to be considered some level of good. No ear buds, not wireless and needs a decently long cord 2 meters or 6ft would be fine.

I'd spend up a little personally and get Sennheiser HD 439s, especially if you like bass. The HD 449s are a bit cheaper though, and they probably sound very similar since they're part of the same product line.

If you're not a basshead like me though, you may consider other options.

Takstar/Superlux are your best options. Don't forget to get velour pads for the HD 668/661 if you get the Superlux!

I'd go for Superlux HD681EVOs. they sound great, and are reasonable comfortable. (they are my dailies) mine came with both leatherette and velour pads.

I would also look into the Panasonic RP HTF 600s.

HTF600, Big Sound with a Not So Big Price

His review is solid though I will disagree with one thing (at least with my pair), the build quality. Don't expect anything tank like for $30.

Yeah I don't expect amazing just decent, will look into
