r4tch3t got a reaction from LienusLateTips in Got a 1080p TV, but windows says the native resolution is 4K.
Possibly. Look on the back for the part number. Should be able to figure out all the specs that way.

r4tch3t got a reaction from CruncyLicensePlates in Two outputs into one input
You need a 4 channel 2 output mixer. Otherwise the signals can feed back from one device to another. The mixers combine the analog signals safely. The ons @Mira Yurizaki would work great, however as he said there are cheaper options. For instance I was researching a few months back and the can be had for under $50.
Be warned though, the cheaper ones use lower quality everything so your output sound may be lower quality than a brand name one.
Another possibility is to plug the echo into your pc line in /mic port and have the pc pass it to your speakers

Maybe this port, can we get a closeup?

r4tch3t got a reaction from SwediBOY in Why do speakers sense youre getting a call?
Is picking up the radio waves from the phone. They are much stronger when getting a call /message so you can hear it on the speakers. This is the real reason why you can't use your phone on a plane. Imagine a pilot trying to communicate with air traffic with hundreds of people phones interfering.
The reason you have psychic speakers is there is a handshake communication before the phone rings.

r4tch3t got a reaction from Tommaso Massarelli in Touch Screen Kits
Depending on the laptop it can be easy or near impossible to get a nice looking finish.
However those are resistive touch panels. You have to press on them for it to work rather than touch like we have on our phones these days.
You'd want a capacitive touch screen for the best experience.

r4tch3t reacted to GoldenLag in Nuclear engine not working in KSP
One of the parts of the nuclear bit doesnt have fuel passthrough and therefore doesnt work. You need to run fuellines from the docking to the engine.
That or you have to enable fuel passthrough on the decoupler.

r4tch3t got a reaction from ivansdw in i5-3470 ft. RX 470 for PUBG?
You should be fine, 3570k here, before I overclocked I got around 50-100fps paired with a 1070.
A 3770k would be a decent upgrade though.

The official spec is below.
Technically, it should be fine. but i would use 2 staples or paper clips to move the pins. He is correct that the 12v pins are all soldered to the same 12v rail though.

r4tch3t got a reaction from Amir93 in Connect a router to another?
Yes, do a Google search for a "WiFi bridge" . As long as the router supports it there shouldn't be any issue.
You can also get dedicated bridge routers.

r4tch3t got a reaction from genexis_x in My laptop Processor fan died for my Dell G3 3579
It looks like that's a fairly new laptop, is it still under warranty?
Dell should also have the relevance part.
Nothing for me, only comes up with the laptop reviews for me. Google search is different for everyone.

Safe as far as I can tell, had steam linked for years.

r4tch3t reacted to Finnskii in Case's window panel too much heat?
You are not getting enough airflow into or out of the case, causing hot air produced by the CPU and GPU to stay inside.

What about this?
Plastic Knob 3P3T 3 Pole 3 Throw Band Channel Rotary Switch Selector https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DUYRRNG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_b2KsCbC0M2H5Y
Put that in a case with some 3.5mm jacks. As DIY as you want.

r4tch3t got a reaction from Firewrath9 in Anyone download NoCD Cracks because they're lazy?
In the really early days I did, but then I got a 8GB hard drive. I could rip the entire CD and virtually mount it.

r4tch3t got a reaction from AzurraxD in Need some help
You'll be fine for now, however the cpu will bottleneck you in some games. I'd suggest upgrading the cpu when you can. 16GB off RAM is the sweet spot right now.

r4tch3t got a reaction from AzurraxD in Need some help
Definately, however depending on settings you should be able to get 60fps with the 7400 even with the cpu bottlenecking. Must older games should run fine though.
What motherboard do you have? You may not need to upgrade everything just yet. The 7700k should run BF5 at max everything at 1440p over 100fps.
Plug the 2080 in, play some BFV and see if you get acceptable frames rates. If so you can hold off on the cpu upgrade for a little longer.

r4tch3t got a reaction from BarackOBatman in Help - Gtx 1080 VRM ripped off
Unfortunately no. The tabs from the chip are stuck on the pcb.
You have some luck however. That should be a relatively easy fix providing you can find a replacement part as the pcb had not been damaged.

r4tch3t got a reaction from TechyBen in For what reasons are ARM CPUs slower than x86 CPUs?
Billions upon billions upon billions of research into making x86 faster.
Plenty of research into Arm aswell, especially from a performance per watt perspective. But not the focused performance boosts x86 has had.
