i5-3470 ft. RX 470 for PUBG?

can i get 60+ fps in pubg with this system?

 

cpu : i5-3470 3.20 GHz

gpu : RX 470 4GB

ram : 8GB

no, and you will get 30+ but with stutter with that configuration.

 

i had a i5-4690k @4.5Ghz, 16GB Ram and a Nvidia 760, and i was getting 40+ with luck.

 

i have 100+fps now wih my new config and still got stuttering.....

ow, so what needs to be upgraded? I plan to stay on DDR3

i would upgrade that CPU first. for a newer generation, and get 8gb more of ram

CPU i7 3770K and additional 8GB should do the trick.

You should be fine, 3570k here, before I overclocked I got around 50-100fps paired with a 1070. 

A 3770k would be a decent upgrade though.

cool, I also plan to pair my 3470 with rx 580, and I think I'd better buy 8gb of additional ram first

yeah but that rx470 is no 1070......so he wont be getting taht good of performance, and we are talking about PUBG, the worst optimized game ever ahahahaha.

No need to upgrade from RX 470 to RX 580, that would be wasting money. The RX 470 has been renamed to 570 while the 480 got renamed to 580.

i upgraded my 760 for a Vega 56 and it was the paradise for Pubg.

True, but I was also playing at 1440p high settings, 1080p medium should work fine. According to a couple sites he should get 40-80 fps.

Pubg also runs much better these days than what it used to. Still bad though.

Try looking for LGA 1155 Xeons that (are sometimes cheaper but works just the same as a 3rd gen i7). I agree that upgrading from 470 to 580 is kind of a waste because they're too close performance-wise. No, don't even think of  getting a 590.
