I tried that too but it wasn't great in terms of usage. It had to be left minimized and closing the window would close it out completely.

The micro-transactions they do have in place are far better than any other games I've seen. Everything is just cosmetic, absolutely no purchases required to let you play the game to the fullest and nothing to give any advantages. They don't sell things that affect gameplay or cannot be obtained through gameplay (random drops).
 
I see no problem with trading cards either. If you don't want to collect them you can sell them and make a few cents back (it adds up!). If you do, you can get some ok rewards too, nothing really significant though.
 
They offer transactions that you can completely ignore if you want and it doesn't affect your ability or performance in the game at all. I can't think of anyone else doing that right now.

Oddly enough the drivers may have been the issue, after updating the drivers for my 660 and Geforce experience the problem subsided. Which the majority of the time never fixes anything, but thanks anyway for the help.

Well basically everything i have learnt is from the internet not school so really not surprising.

Now we wait for the realism mod that gives us the ability to wait in traffic for 6 hours.

I'm in the same ballpark as this guy, I have 3 odd monitors, with my U2713HM being the main and I never use my television anymore, before someone recommends PCSX2 to me, I have it installed and I emulate some of my favourite games, the only problem is with games like NFS:UG2 which require an insane amount of Vram for some odd reason and is unplayable on the emulator so directly connecting my PS2 to one of my monitors would be lovely. 

Depends on the which revision his PS3 is. The launch 60gb is still the best, as it had the hardware to play any PS2 game. Later revisions were software emulatored. And I believe some even had no backwards compatibility, but I could be mistaken.

Nice, I'd personally mod the left over one and do something funky with it.

The only problem is as far as I can see is the need for an AMP when i move to something other than my main PC, such as my older laptop or my tablet.

The only problem I can see is the fact that the m50's cups are fake leather compared to the 558, 598, 990's more cloth like covering (Forgot the word),

You can only get it in USA and well they said UK but i haven't found it anywhere i looked.
