Custom AirJordans, PS4 themed. 60 footsteps per secod!

If you've ever wanted to showcase your love for the Playstation 4 on the streets, these $950 custom sneakers might help you step out in style. As reported by DualShockers, the "JRDN 4 X PS4" combines the design of the classic Nike Air Jordan 4 with elements from Sony's next-gen console, most notably its HDMI port.

Sadly, the outlets are strictly decorative. "The HDMI ports have no real function, apart from looking cool," says creator Jonny Barry in an interview. "They actually come with a custom Jordan HDMI cable that when attached, can act as a type of carry cord for walking around sneaker conventions or something!" Barry is planning to release a limited edition run of 10, each of which will ship with the cable and a custom box. To order, prospective buyers will need to either send an email or contact the maker through Instagram.

This is ridiculous but cool at the same time! Also the obligatory MJ GIF:

Console? I think you mean 30 footsteps per second.

This is better.

All jokes aside.

I respect Jordan, but I'm also not a blind consumer who is ok with spending lots of cash on something because of gimmicky celeb status.

For $950, you can get better shoes, a new graphics card, Wii-U and some game for the same price.

60 footstep at 900mm per second speed, maybe.

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...

$950 hard earned dollars for a pair of shoes..... Finally something more overpriced than a console?

Anyone who buys these should be shot in the head for being a danger to the gene pool.

at first I thought it was a ps4 bundle but as I read on it's just the shoes alone for $950. I upgrade my rig for that kind of money. The ports don't even work. Does the fact that it has PS4 and Jordan's brand on it raise the price by 750 dollars? I would never buy shoes for that price unless I had extreme amount of money to burn.

Why are people seemingly surprised that the ports don't work? What were you looking to do? Plug your shoe into a monitor?

they could have had avermedia capture cards in the soles so ps4 players can capture there gaming :P

I wonder if they had to pay licensing fees to use the HDMI ports, maybe they should have considered using DisplayPort :P
